Lugz Women’s Theta Boot #Giveaway

It has been cold here in New York, and I was in need of some new boots. I wanted something comfortable, not bulky in appearance and water-resistant. I found just what I was looking for in the black Theta boots by Lugz.

These boots have a classic alpine wedge that makes them exceptionally comfortable and supportive. They have a water-resistant upper and a slip resistant outsole with a flexastrude memory foam insole, that is so comfortable.

The boots have an overlay tongue and durable d-ring lace up closure for a great fit. The speed hooks, padded tongue and collar, along with the updated sleek, slim toe shape don’t even make my size 11 feet, look big or bulky.

They keep my feet warm and dry even on the coldest days. They are so comfortable, they are perfect to wear on my walks as well. They have great traction which is perfect for surfaces with snow, slush or ice. They come in other colors too!

Choose TIME Slippers For High Performance Relaxation – #Giveaway

We are getting our first snowfall in New York today. It is the perfect day for me to appreciate the beauty of the falling snow from my windows as I write. Afterward, I plan to do some holiday baking, and then help my kids decorate a gingerbread house.

In the evening, we will build a roaring fire, and watch a Christmas movie together. I really need a day to kick back a little, and let myself enjoy some holiday fun. That can be difficult for me to do this time of year, because my editorial schedule is so full. However, today I am putting that time aside.

I am reminding myself of this today, by wearing my TIME Slippers. Who am I kidding? I have been wearing these slippers every day since I got them. The mid top, wool slippers have hard soles that I can and do wear outside, because they are so warm and cozy. No one even thinks they are slippers, as they look more like a mid top sneaker.

They are so easy to put on and take off, no laces to tie, and the handy hook and loop fastener flap in the back, lets you just slip your foot right in. I have had them for about a week, and I have been wearing them every day because they are so comfortable and they look great!

The yoga mat insoles make my feet feel great with 6mm of cushioning, that was expertly designed to be comfortable under pressure. The wool interior keeps my feet warm when it is cold and wicks away moisture to keep my feet comfortable. I chose the wool exterior, but they also have leather. TIME Slippers are all made using the finest quality materials.

If you travel, you will be able to sail right through TSA in these babies. They have many styles to choose from for men or women. Women, if you have big feet like I do, don’t despair. While their women’s sizes go up to 9.5, the slippers are unisex. That means that you can just order the men’s size that is the equivalent of what you need.

I can tell you, I wear a women’s 11, I ordered the men’s size 9, and they fit perfectly. I was afraid they would be really wide or look huge ordering a men’s size, but they don’t. The stretch laces fit my narrow feet perfectly, but would easily expand to fit wider feet.

I love these slippers so much, they have been added to Mommy Ramblings 2017 Holiday Gift Guide. They would make a great gift for just about anyone!

Sunset Yoga Workshop in Brooklyn Bridge Park With Miz Mooz Shoes!!! #MizMoozMoves

Well, I am very proud to introduce my daughter Alexandra as a new guest blogger for Mommy Ramblings. Alexandra graduated with her Masters in Public Administration in May and is working full time with NJ Transit as a Transportation GIS Analyst. She lives in the NYC area and will be covering local events and happenings in the city that never sleeps. Her first event post is one I knew she would love. She is a very active young woman and after work can be found jumping on a train to a yoga studio. The weather was breezy but nice in the Harbor Side Park in DUMBO. The bright orange yoga mats were set up directly across the Manhattan skyline with a perfect view of the Statue of Liberty.

I am used to taking power yoga at my home studio but have been craving a slower flow and the teacher, Kelly, absolutely delivered. The poses she recommended were perfect to completely stretch out the body no matter if you were a novice or a very practiced yogi.

The class was very welcoming and provided a nice retreat from the chaos of the city. Miz Mooz showcased some very fashionable styles for fall and each blogger was sent home with a very comfortable espadrille style flat which I have been using for commuting on the PATH.

The shoes are comfortable and fashionably perfect for the city. I had an absolutely amazing experience sharing this class with all of the awesome bloggers and want to thank Miz Mooz for their hospitality and the great shoes and goodies we all got to take with us!
