If you are not familiar with Schleich, let me tell you a little bit about this great company. Friedrich Schleich founded the company in 1935. The now famous Schleich figurines first came to life in the 1950’s. At that time Schleich concentrated on the developement and marketing of comic figurines. Still popular today and well know, like The Smurfs, Snoopy, and Muppet characters. In the early 1980s Schleich added animal figurines to their range of products and consequently extended this area. The production itself takes place at the company’s German headquarters and in a number of production facilities in foreign countries. Their products are marketed world-wide.
These great Farm Life Scenery Packs help children ages 3 and up celebrate nature’s wonders. Perfect for inspiring imaginative play, these figurines are hand-painted, stunningly realistic and designed to stand the test of time. Each Schleich figurine is painstakingly designed in Germany and is available at Target, Toys R Us and independent toy stores across the country.
I was sent the Farm Life Dog Agility Scenery Pack and the Farm Life Rabbit Scenery Pack. These great play sets are incredibly detailed and so realistic. My kids get a real kick out of being able to take care of the adorable rabbits and care for them in their hutch. The dog agility course is so realistic and includes training equipment such as a seesaw, weaving and jumping poles and an ‘A’ frame. The kids love teaching the eager Border Collie to master the course. The figures and accessories can be put together to create a lively, pictorial scene. Each set contains a specially designed article which cannot be bought separately. In the Rabbit set it is the hutch that is the exclusive item and in the Dog pack, the agility course is the exclusive item.
