Your Smile Health = You Body Health – Oral-B Giveaway #SmileHealth

Your smile says so much about your personality, but do you know it speaks volumes about your health? It’s not only what we put in our mouth that matters, but how we take care of it, that leads to a healthy heart, mind and body. Good oral health can limit your exposure to heart disease, stroke and memory loss. This is why it’s so important to start taking care of your oral health early, a healthy mouth equals a healthy you!

From a young child the importance of not eating too many sweets, making sure to brush and floss morning and night, see the dentist twice a year for cleanings and take care of any problems immediately. I remember when I had braces, that the importance of brushing effectively was stressed by my orthodontist.

Flossing is very important. Brushing alone does not get every area in your moth clean. I floss twice a day or whenever I feel I may have something between my teeth because I don’t want to leave food in my mouth like that. Flossing everyday also greatly reduces your gums from receding.

  4. Carmen Van Deursen

I like to use baking soda and lemon juice to brighten my smile once or twice a month.

  5. Rust

I carry the flosser picks with me and use them when I cannot brush during the day.

I always have floss on the table next to the couch, in the car and in my purse so I can floss anytime of the day.

I carry Colgate Wisps with me and keep them in my car and my desk drawer so I can always get in a quick brush even when I don’t have water or toothpaste with me. (Although I do keep toothpaste in my car and desk, too!)
