Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies:<\/h2>\n

• 1\/2 cup virgin coconut oil<\/a><\/li>\n
• 1\/4 cup butter, softened<\/li>\n
• 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar<\/li>\n
• 1\/2 cup sugar<\/li>\n
• 2 large eggs<\/li>\n
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract<\/a><\/li>\n
• 2 cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\n
• 1\/2 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n
• 1\/2 tsp. sea salt<\/li>\n
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips<\/li>\n
• 1 cup chopped walnuts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
  1. With an electric mixer or stand mixer<\/a>, beat coconut oil, butter and sugars together until fluffy, 3-5 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla.<\/div>\n

  2. In a small bowl, mix flours, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until a soft dough is formed. Don’t over mix the dough, or the chocolate chip cookies will be tough.<\/div>\n

  3. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if using.<\/div>\n

  4. Refrigerate dough at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.<\/div>\n

  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.<\/div>\n
