RedEnvelope was launched in 1999, with the mission to make gift giving for every occasion easy and fun. The name RedEnvelope comes from a firmly held belief in Asian cultures that the color red is an auspicious symbol of happiness. Gifts are often presented in a simple red envelope – a timeless tradition that carries with it well wishes of prosperity, good fortune, appreciation and love.

I recently placed an order with RedEnvelope. I ordered 2 long sleeve kid’s States T-Shirts for my 2 little guys and a personalized Christmas Ornament. I thought the State T-Shirts were so cool. My five-year old loves to identify states and so having New York featured prominently on the front along with his name and in his favorite color, make this shirt a big hit. I also ordered one for my three-year old in his favorite color. The third thing I ordered was a personalized ceramic rectangular Family Christmas ornament which I had personalized with all seven of our names. This ornament is very nice but the imprinting on the ceramic is at a bit of an angle, it is also a little hard to see the names since they are just imprinted without color so everything is the same color. Other than that, it hangs from a red ribbon and comes packaged in a red drawstring bag.
