How would you feel about something that looks really neat, creates a warm, cozy glow and is good for you? \u00a0If you are like me, you would be all for it. \u00a0I was recently sent a Himalayan Salt Lamp for review from the Himalayan Salt Shop. \u00a0Salt lamps can come in natural shapes like the one I received or they can be crafted into special shapes. \u00a0The salt lamps from the Himalayan Salt Shop are the highest quality. \u00a0The natural salt lamp is mounted on a wood base, you simply insert the bulb, plug in and turn on using the handy toggle switch right on the cord. \u00a0A beautiful glow is emitted and it just creates such a great ambiance to any room.<\/p>\n

There is a guide to the size of the lamp and the room size it should be used in for\u00a0maximum\u00a0effectiveness. \u00a0The lamps come from the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. Each\u00a0salt crystal lamp<\/strong>\u00a0is chipped out by hand and a hole is bored in the base for the light. \u00a0When the\u00a0salt crystal rock<\/strong>\u00a0heats up, it emits\u00a0negative ions<\/strong>. These\u00a0ions<\/strong>\u00a0clean the air by removing dust, pollen, dander, cigarette smoke and bacteria. They also offset the effects of the positive ions produced by computer monitors, TV’s and other electrical devices.\u00a0Negative ions<\/strong>\u00a0are also produced in nature by thunderstorms, waterfalls and the ocean. That’s why we feel refreshed and energized in these environments. The lamps offer this same benefit.<\/p>\n

The lamps are super easy to care for,\u00a0once a month, it is \u00a0recommended you unplug the lamp and wipe it down with a damp cloth. This will remove any dust or dirt.
