I used the recipe exactly as is and just cooked them for about 3-4 minutes as per the doughnut maker’s instructions. \u00a0I used a non-stick cooking spray on the doughnut molds. \u00a0I also filled a pastry bag without a tip to neatly pipe the doughnut batter in the molds on the maker. \u00a0After I finished cooking all the doughnuts, I made the glaze and dipped the entire doughnut in the glaze and quickly topped with sprinkles before the glaze dried. \u00a0They were delicious, chocolatey and moist.<\/p>\n
The next day I tried an experiment with cinnamon roll doughnuts using the mini-bites dough from Pillsbury. \u00a0They turned out great and were super easy for a quick morning snack or breakfast treat.<\/p>\n
