Lysol Clean-Flip Sweeper Starter Kit Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was sent a Lysol Clean-Flip Sweeper Starter Kit to review.  Clean-Flip: delivering the convenience of quick cleaning and the results of traditional cleaning methods. The innovative “flip” feature reaches into tight spaces and cleans floors and baseboards simultaneously. With a simple, no-touch way to attach the cleaning cloth to the sweeper, the Clean-Flip reduces the drippy mess and hassle associated with other sweepers. The Clean-Flip uses 66 percent more surface area than the leading sweeper’s cloths, making cleaning faster and more efficient.  The starter kit comes with the sweeper and 2 dry and 2 wet cloths.

This sweeper is really handy to have around for quick clean-ups.  Now that Winter is approaching it is great for mopping up the foyer and hallways when muddy and snowy human and dog feet come in.  Great for cleaning the bathroom tile floor, it manuevers well and you can just throw the dirty pad away.  It is very versatile and can be used with the wet and dry cloths you can buy separately.  Easy to store and so handy for quick clean ups.

This is such a great product to make cleaning up easy and fast during the holiday season when we have lots of visits from family and friends.  It is nice to just grab this sweeper and tidy up before company comes by.  It is for these reasons I am adding this to our 2011 Holiday Guide Section: Products To Help You This Holiday Season.

Shrockie Fish Clips Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was sent some adorable Fish Clips from Shrockie to review.  Fish Clips are a ratcheting clip that seals all types of bags so food stays fresh.  They are really fun and a little addictive to secure and release.  They work really well and hold super tight until you release them.  They have a  magnet on the back so you can put them on the side of your fridge or any magnetic surface so they are handy.  My kids think they are the greatest things and much cuter than the regular chip clips.   I like them so much, and think they are so convenient especially with the holidays coming that I am putting them in the 2011 Holiday Gift Guide.  I am listing them under products that help you this holiday season because with all the baking and cooking they are so handy to close bags of powdered sugar, marshmallows, cookies, home-baked treats, breads and more.  I also think they have a place on the gift list too because how cute would it be to put one on a bag of home-baked cookies or bread that you give someone?  Then after the treats are done they still have the colorful fish to remind them of your gift.

Silikids, Siliskin 6oz Glass Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Drinking from a real glass is exciting for a child, but as parents, we worry about them dropping the glass and it shattering. I was sent a Silikids, Siliskin 6oz Glass for review.  Silikids lets kids enjoy the glass with a great silicone skin that makes the glass easy to grip.   Silikids makes this small BPA free silicone covered glass. The Siliskin helps prevent slippage and adds extra protection to the glass inside. Glass is the cleanest option for drinking and it lasts because it’s reusable, and recyclable. The Siliskin is hypo- allergenic, has no open pores to harbor bacteria and is dishwasher safe. Ditch the plastic sippy cup and go for a Siliskin Glass! Two simple ideas have come together to make the perfect drinkware better for your family and the environment.

This glass is great and I love that you can just run it right through the dishwasher.  My little ones are so proud to be allowed to have a “real glass.”  It makes my life easier and that is why I am adding it to our 2011 Holiday Gift Guide section, Products to Help You This Holiday Season.

Yes, my son is buttery and crumby. He just ate some toast. LOL

Vitalah’s Oxylent Oxygenated Multivitamin Drink Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Halloween is over and the countdown to Thanksgiving and Christmas has begun in earnest.  The most wonderful time of the year can be the most stressful as well.  We are running in 10 different directions, trying to do everything we can and our bodies need support.  I was recently sent a variety of samples of Oxylent to review.  Oxylent is an oxygenating multivitamin drink.  Oxylent makes multivitamin drinks for pregnant women, children and adults.  Oxylent comes in packets and you add it to your water or smoothies.  Oxylent has no gluten, less than 2 grams of organic cane sugar, no wheat and no caffeine.  Oxylent tastes fruity and refreshing and to prove that it tastes good, I mixed up the children’s version and had my two testers try it.  They eagerly drank it and it was a hit.  We are huge VitaMixers in this house, so we will add it to our smoothies for an extra vitamin punch.  I even received a vitamin lip balm sample that I really liked, now even my lips can get their vitamins.

Because Mommy Ramblings wants you to take care of yourself and your family this Holiday Season, I have added Oxylent to our 2011 Holiday Guide for ways to pamper and take care of yourself and your family this season.  Oxylent makes it easy to get your vitamins even when you are on the run.  You can carry the powder packets in your purse or pocket and just mix it with your water wherever you are.

Little man has cinnamon sugar all over him from the toast he just finished. LOL

I am happy to let you know that Vitalah’s Oxylent is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win a variety box of Vitalah’s Oxylent plus a special edition water bottle.  Thank you Vitalah’s Oxylent for the samples and for sponsoring this great give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  Open to US residents.

Kleynimals, Non-Toxic Stainless Steel “Keys” Review & 2011 Gift Guide Pick!!!

Finding quality toys that will last, are safe, and that your baby will love is sometimes a challenge. More often than not after buying them all these pricy, plastic, toys, they just want to play with things that aren’t toys, like your keys for instance. Some people come up with the idea that they can just buy a set of un-cut keys for their baby, and while this sounds like a great idea, you still have the problem that regular keys are often made with dangerous amounts of lead. Most of the time babies are hardly fooled by plastic imitations, so what do you do? Well, mom and founder of Kleynimals, decided to come up with a toy to fix that problem! So was born Kleynimals! She designed a set of key-like toys that was made of all natural, 100% recyclable, stainless steel materials and safe for babies to put in their mouths!

My baby loves to play with and chew on my keys, and I always worry about him cutting himself on them or poking them into his mouth. So I was excited when I got the chance to review Kleynimals, I knew my baby would enjoy these! My instincts proved correct because he loves the sound and feel of these keys, they are just like the real thing, only better! Kleynimals doesn’t have any sharp or rough edges for babies to hurt themselves on, plus they are made out of non toxic stainless steel! They are dishwasher safe, which is the recommended washing choice for Kleynimals, a fast and simple way to get them cleaned! They come in a nice little reusable fabric bag which you can store the toy in and keep it clean while not in use. They would make a beautiful keepsake for your little one, as they can be engraved for personalization, and they will last forever! I highly recommend Kleynimals, tried and true, babies love them. As you can see in the photos, my baby couldn‘t keep his fingers off them long enough for pictures!!

Toy Keys

We are thrilled to include this product in our 2011 Holiday Gift Guide.  These adorable stainless steel Kleynimals will make a great gift for the baby on your list. With the option of having them engraved, they would make a lovely keepsake toy from Grandparents, Godparents, Aunts or Uncles.  What a beautiful, fun toy that will always be a reminder of the love you have for that child.  Imagine the joy when that child can one day hand down this keepsake toy to his/her child.

Jack Be Natural Go Green Diaper Review and Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Jack Be Natural

One thing I love about cloth diapering, is the absolutely adorable prints you can get! This GoGreen Champ diaper I received from Jack Be Natural for review is no exception, the cow print is so sweet and unique! Disposable diapers do not come close to being as cute as cloth fluff! It is so soft and snuggly, The outside is made of a minky, velvety fabric, and the inside is made of suedcloth. I love putting it on my baby because I know how comfortable it must be for him! It fits fine on my 9 month old and 2 year old thanks to it’s adjustable snaps! Jack Be Natural also sent me two samples of their own blend of natural Crunchy Clean laundry detergent! It has a lovely, calming, vanilla lavender scent, and I love how it is all natural with no harmful additives!

Jack Be Natural was founded when a mom and dad started their search for more natural alternatives to the run of the mill baby and children products. It was their vision to have a store where everything they sold was natural, and introduce others to the more healthy alternatives for baby products at reasonable prices. There is a wide array of natural baby products from cloth diapers and laundry detergents to wonderfully crafted wooden toys! In addition to the many print choices of the GoGreen Champ diapers, there are many more cloth diaper brands, and design choices to choose from! Jack Be Natural also has a great Cloth diapering 101 section that gives you a lot of great information for people new to cloth diapering!

If you have fallen in love with this adorable cow print diaper, you will be happy to know that Jack Be Natural is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings! One lucky blog reader will win a charming GoGreen Moo Champ diaper of their own! Thank you Jack Be Natural for sponsoring this great diaper give-away!!!  Open to US and Canadian residents.

Timberworks Toys Review & Give-Away Plus 15% Off Discount!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Timberworks Toys recently sent me the Cottage/Bridge Set with extra pieces (wheels and Velcro-T’s) so I could see the full range of structures that can be built with Timberworks Toys.  This set included a durable duffel bag for storage and transport.  The pieces are quite substantial and superior quality, no rough or sharp edges to worry about.  My boys are younger than the recommended beginning age of 5, but they will grow into this set and have fun with it for years.  In the meantime Daddy had great fun building toys for the boys.

Timberworks Toys was born when a mother suggested that her husband make some log building toys for their son.  Dad, being a highly skilled cabinetmaker, started to work during “father-son time” and Timberworks Toys was born! Inspired by the father-son dynamic Timberworks Toys made new pieces to expand the set to build bridges and cars.  Timberworks Toys is now the home of American heirloom-quality wooden toys.  These great toys can be shared from generation to generation celebrating the father and son bond.

Timberworks Toys makes great building sets and is offering Mommy Ramblings readers a special discount of 15% on their products.  Just call or email your order and let them know you saw them on Mommy Ramblings and they will apply the discount to your order.  Timberworks Toys also offers free shipping in the US.
