Snugg iPad 2 Distressed Brown Leather Case Review!!!

 

I recently had the chance to review the Snugg iPad 2 Distressed Brown Leather Case.  My husband and I both have an iPad 2, so we are always interested in reviewing cases to protect them, make using them easy and of course that look good.  The Snugg iPad 2 received 2 thumbs up from both my husband and myself for a number of reasons.  First, it looks and feels good, the color is nice, the leather is soft, and you know it is going to protect your iPad 2.  The other thing we love is that the cover will turn your iPad 2 on by just opening it.  That is a feature both of us look for in cases and we really like.  It is easy to put your case in and you know it is secure because of the design of the case. Fill in the Blankz, White Plush Toy by Always Been Creative, Inc. Review and Giveaway!!!

I recently received 2 Series 1 Fill in The Blankz, White Plush Toys for review.  We received No Bully and White Hound.  Glenn Rudin founder of Always Been Creative, Inc. and inventor of the blankZ knows that kids will appreciate a toy that not only challenges their creativity, but can be designed over and over again.  The Series 1 set has seven blank characters including; Bare (bear), No Bully (bull), Piggy BlankZ (pig), Ele-Faint (elephant), White Hound (dog), Blank Bunny (rabbit) and Un-Sealed (seal).  Every blankZ toy is packed with 5 water-color markers in a colorful acetate box (designed to look like an old-fashioned circus animal train car) so it remains clean.  Each blankZ toy also includes a blankZdrop™ card so that the designer can also create the toy’s living environment. Finally each toy is adorned with its own removable hangtag, which has a poem describing the character.  The company plans an interactive website that will challenge designers around the country with contests to come up with the best blankZ design.

My kids were thrilled when I told them they could color these animals any way they wanted.  I also explained that when they wanted to do it again, we would just put them in the wash and they would be white like before.  The first thing they both did was give these characters eyes. Then they finished with my son Ethan whose favorite color is green, coloring the whole thing almost all green and Luke took it more abstract and Picasso like.  I had pictures of the finished products but when I looked at my chip, I can’t find them.  I will update as I think they are on another chip.  I guess I should not say final product because anytime your child wants to create a new design, they can by just sending the animals through the washer and dryer.  Then they will have a blank canvas to create a new masterpiece on.  Just make sure your kids only use the included markers so that it will all wash off when you want it to.  If you are looking for a great gift to spark creativity in your child, that can be used again and again, check out Fill In The Blankz and let your child be the designer.

Our Thoughts:

We recently received this newest Chuggington DVD to review and my boys just adore it.  If your little ones are fans of the Chugginton Series, they are in for a real treat.  The DVD has a bonus feature of coloring and activity sheets that my boys just love.  The episodes are great because they reinforce the importance of helping your friends and teamwork. This is a very good series for preschoolers and young children to show them good values and morals in a way they can easily understand.

Kane Miller Book Publishers, Market Day! Book Set Review and Giveaway!!!

I recently received the Market Day! Early Learning Book Set from Kane Miller Book Publishers for review.  This set includes four, 12-page board books that come in a carrying case that doubles as a foldout play set.  The play set can be used with the punch-out characters that are in the four books.  Each book covers a different early learning topic; colors, shapes, opposites and numbers.  The books are colorful with adorable artwork and rhymes that are fun to read.  This set makes a great present for toddlers and preschoolers.  This is such a great set, and I love board books with little ones because they really hold up to little hands who are sometimes less than gentle when looking at books.

Blast Zone, Hang 10 Wet/Dry Bounce Slide Combo Inflatable Review!!! Bonus 25% Off Discount Code!!!

  One of the things my kids love about their mom being a review blogger, is that I get some pretty cool stuff to review.   We recently had the opportunity to choose a Blast Zone Inflatable to review.  We ended up choosing the Hang 10, which is a large inflatable with a bounce section and a huge slide that can be used wet or dry, for fun year round.  We have been having such a mild winter here in NY State.  We have not had snow and sledding parties needed to be cancelled.  So we had planned to do the review on a mild day and during the night we had a brief dusting of snow.  We however went ahead with our plans, and just so you know, it was very mild even though there is some snow on the grass. The inflatable comes with everything you need, the blower, the stakes (please note that since we were doing just a review and the ground was hard we did not put the stakes in as we would do if we were planning on using the unit for a party or for the kids to play in for a long time.  You may also want to use sand bags to make it super secure, especially if there is any wind.  It also includes the hosing and sprayer attachments to make it a wet slide in the warmer weather and a large storage bag is also included.  You take the inflatable out and unfold it and then just hook the blower up and in minutes the unit is inflated and ready to be staked down.  This inflatable is very attractive with its bright, bold colors and cute little palm tree accents.  The bounce portion has a handle and foot holes so that a child can boost up to the slide for a fun ride out of the bounce house.  

There is an entrance ramp to the bounce house and it is completely enclosed for safety.  The bottom of the slide forms a bit of a pit that is great for a water pool when using it in the summer and you can also fill it with those small colored balls to add even more fun during other times.  The bouncer is very well constructed, made with quality materials and is very impressive.  My kids just loved this inflatable and burned off lots of energy.  It is so easy to set up and take down that you can really use it anytime quickly and easily.  If you are looking for something that will provide hours of fun, exercise and giggles you need to check out Blast Zone Inflatables.  They have such a great selection of products!

Ariat Women’s Western, Shattered Black Corazon Cowboy Boots Review!!!

I was tickled pink when I recently had the opportunity to review a high quality pair of cowboy boots from Ariat.  I had such a hard time choosing given the incredible selection they offer.  I finally decided on the shattered black Corazon cowboy boots.  I thought they were beautiful in the pictures, but the pictures don’t do them the true justice of seeing them in person.  They are just exquisite!  So, I knew they looked good, but the real test would be how they fit.  These are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn.  You know what?  I think they are the most comfortable anything, I have worn on my feet, ever!  The first day I wore them, I wore them all day, and they felt great, when I got home I did not even want to take them off.  They are supportive and fit true to size, the premium full-grain leather is refined, and the sharp X-Toe is supported with ATS technology.

Quality is the word that describes the craftmanship of these boots, hand nailed leather soles, the vibrant embroidery, the stitching, the details, all of it screams perfection.  This is my first pair of Ariat boots, but I will never buy another brand!  Every time I wear them people come up to me, whether I am in the drug store, post office, or shopping mall, they ask me where I got them and tell me how much they like them.  I wear these boots under and over my jeans, both ways look and feel great.  Can’t wait to try them with a long skirt.  Anyway, if you are looking for gorgeous boots that will make an impression every time you wear them and feel so great you won’t want to take them off, then you have to take a look at Ariat boots.  Thank you so much to Ariat for sponsoring this review.
