GoGreen Champ Diaper Review and Give-Away!!!

I recently had the opportunity to review a Champ Pocket diaper and a black adapt-a-snap from GoGreen Diapers! The diaper I got was a cute, bold, blue color, with charming rainbow snaps! The Inside material is so soft and downy, I love putting it on my baby because it is like putting a cloud on his bum! I like their pocket design with it open on both ends so it is easy to stuff, and you don’t have to un-stuff it after it has been used. The design allows the soaker to “self-agitate” out during the wash cycle! The GoGreen’s microfiber soakers are very trim and absorbent, and can be used alone during the day, but at night, another soaker is needed. Go Green’s unique configuration of adjustable rise and waist snaps provides 4 sizes in one, with true birth-to-potty fit! I didn’t have any leaks while using the GoGreen Champ, which makes me very happy, since a lot of my other diapers do leak and get my baby’s clothes wet.

GoGreen’s nifty Adapt-a-snap allows for even more sizing options, it has snaps on one side, and hook and loop tape on the other. Just snap in place on the diaper front snaps and tab snaps, and you convert a snap diaper to the versatility of hook and loop! I like hook and loop, but after washing it many many times, it usually needs to be replaced, but with an adapt-a-snap, you don’t have to be continually washing and breaking down your hook and loop tape, so it will still stick for a long time! GoGreen Champ diapers also come in many other colors and prints to choose from! I think they are worth your consideration when shopping for cloth diapers, be sure to get extra soakers for nighttime use!

GoGreen Diapers is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings! One lucky blog reader will win their own GoGreen Champ diaper and Adapt-a-snap in their choice of colors! Thank you GoGreen Diapers for the fabulous review products and awesome give-away!!! Open to US residents.

“Holiday Crafting & Baking With Kids” by Jessica Strand Review & Give-Away!!!

Chronicle Books

‘Tis the Season for crafting and baking with your kids!!!  I recently received “Holiday Crafting & Baking With Kids to review.  This book by Jessica Strand is full of all kinds of crafts and baking for the holidays.  Children ages four and up will love selecting their own materials and digging into these cheerful projects. There is something here for everyone and every winter occasion—Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, New Year’s, and Boxing Day! Step-by-step instructions, helpful templates, and color photos make it a cinch for little ones to follow along. Best of all, the materials and ingredients for these projects are inexpensive, easy to find, and even easier to turn into amazing gifts, decorations, and treats.

One of the first crafts we decided to try was the shimmering snowflakes.  The directions were straightforward and you could improvise on them creating larger or smaller snowflakes.  I really like that since snowflakes are unique, that this did not have to be a “perfect” craft.  You can definitely let your kids add their own spin on them through colors, size or shape.  This is a very fun craft to do together.  It may be harder for 4 and 5 year-olds to do unassisted since there is a bit of intricate twisting but I think it is great for older kids.  When you are finished you can hang them up around the house and you have a festive start to your holiday decorations.

PAK Personal Accessories Kits Review & Give-Away!!!

Have you ever found yourself on your way to a big interview and your button falls off your shirt, your hem comes unstitched on your pants, you spill coffee on your blouse, or a dozen other little things that seem to happen at the worst time?  Well, PAK has thought of it all for you and created these great personal accessories kits in three sizes that are chock full of essential products that you will need in desperate times.

I was recently sent the Original, Mini and Micro PAK Kits to review.  I have to say that these kits are wonderful to keep in your purse, diaper bag or carry by themselves.  They are your survival kit for all of the little faux pas that seem to plague us when we least expect it.  Now you will have the double-sided tape to fix that hem, the Tide to Go stick to knock out that stain and a nail file to take care of that broken nail. It is truly amazing how much is packed into these compact kits.  I gave the Mini to my daughter who told me she wished she had it on the campaign she was just working on.  She gladly will keep this kit in her purse so she can be prepared for life’s little surprises.  I love the original to keep in my diaper bag and the micro is a great little kit to keep in even the smallest bag.  The Original and Mini have a purse chain that allows you to carry them by themselves and the Micro has a handy wrist strap.  Don’t be caught off guard when you need to make a good first impression, with PAK Personal Accessories Kits you’re covered.

With the holidays upon us, we are all going to be running in ten different directions to Holiday Parties, Family Functions, School Functions, and more.  The PAK is a great accessory that will help you look and feel your best.  Mommy Ramblings is adding the PAK to our 2011 Holiday Gift Guide, under Products To Help You This Holiday Season.

Original PAK (available in green or black plum)

The Original is a compact, organized kit for your purse, tote, briefcase, desk drawer, or car glove compartment. It contains 30 of the PAK’s selected essentials along with additional space for cash, credit card, ID, and other personal items.

Though it has the distinction of holding the most products, The Original is about the size of a woman’s hand. A detachable purse strap is included, making it possible to carry The Original on its own as a compact clutch.

Original PAK contains: hand sanitizer, lotion, wet wipes, facial tissues, hair spray, comb, mirror, tweezers, body mist, deodorant wipe, tampax coupon, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, breath spray, polish remover, nail file, nail clippers, lint-remover tape, double-sided fashion tape, scissors, Tide To Go Pen, antibiotic crème, bandages, Pill Box (a tin to carry the medicines you use), Little Extras (another tin to carry additional personal items: hair pins, ponytail holders, barrettes, safety pins…), and

Removable Strap to carry the PAK ™ on its own or as a compact clutch.

Dimensions: 6.25”w x 4”h x 2”d (16cm x 10cm x 5cm)

Mini PAK (available in green or black plum)

The Mini is perfect for women who favor switching between mid-sized bags regularly. Smaller than The Original, this middle option is an easily transportable version, holding 23 of the PAK’s greatest hit on-the-go essentials.

Also included is extra room for cash, credit card, ID, and other personal things. This model stays shut due to its strong magnetic snaps. A detachable purse strap is included as well, making it possible to carry the Mini on its own.

The Mini PAK contains: hand sanitizer, lotion, wet wipes, facial tissues, hair spray, comb, mirror, tweezers, tampax coupon, dental floss, breath spray, polish remover, nail file, nail clippers,
double-sided fashion tape, Tide To Go Pen, antibiotic crème, bandages, Little Extras (a tin to carry additional personal items: pills, hair pins, ponytail holders, barrettes, safety pins…), and removable strap to carry the PAK ™ on its own or as a compact clutch.

Dimensions: 4.375”w x 4”h x 2”d (11cm x 10cm x 5cm)

Mini PAK (available in green or black plum)

The Micro is the smallest PAK option and is ideal for traveling light. Included in The Micro are 16 of PAK’s most essential on-the-go items and contains a compartment for cash, credit cards, and an ID window.

The Micro, about the size of a woman’s palm, fits in most clutches, jacket pockets and very small spaces and also features strong magnetic snaps which will ensure your essentials stay tightly closed in the PAK. It is extremely lightweight and portable on its own as well with a removable wristlet strap.

The Micro PAK contains: cuticle oil, body mist, hair spray, breath spray, lip gloss, dental floss, nail file, double-sided fashion tape, wet wipes, antibiotic crème, bandages, mirror, Little Extras (a tin to carry additional personal items: pills, hair pins, ponytail holders, barrettes, safety pins…), and removable wristlet strap. to carry the PAK ™ on its own.
