Four Peas Toddler Backpack Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Recently, I received a Rocker Toddler Backpack to review from Four Peas.  This style is perfect for my four-year old who will be entering pre-school in the Fall.  The backpack was a huge hit with him because he loves guitars and his favorite color is green, so the green accents just added to the appeal of this backpack for him.  The backpack is the perfect size for toddlers and is roomy enough to hold all the stuff they want to cart back and forth to pre-school, day camp, play-dates or even an overnight trip.  The bag has a large compartment and a smaller zippered front compartment for smaller items.  The easily adjustable straps make it a snap to get a snug and secure fit on your child.  The quality of this bag will stand up to most anything toddlers can dish out.  It is nice to find a toddler backpack that looks good and functions well.

Toddler Backpacks are made with 600 denier plus nylon, and our line is PVC free. The new toddler backpacks are 12.50″ tall X 10.5 inches wide by 5.5″ deep and are perfect for children 3 and over. They contain a zipper 3/4 around bag with a pocket on the front that is 5″ tall and a 3/4″ gusset with zipper. There are also 1 in. wide adjustable, padded shoulder straps and a padded carry handle on top.

Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent a set of Huggable Hangers to review.  These hangers were invented by Joy Mangano and they sport a rich velvety surface that comes in a multitude of colors.  The hangers are supposed to keep clothes in their place so they will not slip off.  Another claim of these hangers is that they take up less room and by using them you can double your closet space.  Huggable Hangers are available for purchase on HSN.

One thing I cannot stand are those little loops that are sewn in the shoulders of many of my blouses and shirts because they assist to fasten the garment to the hanger so it will not slip off.  I can’t take those things and now they are usually made of some stretchy elastic plastic that drives me even more nuts.  I end up tearing them out because they get caught in my necklaces or work their way out and then they fall off the hangers, so to say I was excited to find out if these would work is an understatement.  I put my silky shirts on them and I shook them and they stayed put.  I put tanks with spaghetti straps on them and they did not move, in fact every article of clothing stayed in place no matter how many times I pushed the hangers back and forth.  They shirts stayed in place taking them on and off that clothes pole and even a good shake did not make them fall off.    This was great news now I can take those stupid loops out of my shirts and still be able to hang my shirts up.

The other great thing is that they are so slim and they do take up much less space than conventional hangers and so you do indeed have more room to hang your clothes.  They also move quite nicely in the closet and they look nice and come in colors to suit anyone’s taste.  In the end I would highly recommend these hangers and I think if you try them you will be quite impressed.

I learned so many neat tips and tricks through these great books and I cannot wait to use them.  I now see a need for the supersize box of baking soda sold at Sams.  I also think I will be buying vinegar by the barrel.  With kids and animals around I really like these alternative cleaning, cooking, and home solutions that are healthy and work.

I was excited to connect with the North American Bear Co.  I chose to review the Rosy Cheeks Blonde Boy Doll.  The reason I chose this doll is because it’s hard to find dolls for boys and I want my boys to be nuturing men who will grow up to be great dads.  I think it is great for them to have a little baby boy doll and this doll was just too soft and cute.  The other reason is that I think this doll will help with potty training as a learning aid.  Since he has a removable diaper he can easily demonstrate transitioning to the potty and even sit on a child’s potty as part of a learning lesson.  The quality of this doll is superior and since it is soft and cuddly it makes a great doll for a small child to take to bed.  North American Bear Co.  makes this doll in both boy and girl versions and different skin and hair colors.

Miss Lucy’s Monograms Large Insulated Lunch Bag Review & $25.00 Coupon Code Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently received a custom monogramed lunch bag from Miss Lucy’s Monograms to review.  I picked the black with white detail large insulated lunch bag and I had it monogrammed with my initials in purple.  I was assisted with any questions every step of the way and it was an easy ordering process.  When I received the bag I was quite impressed.  It is a good size lunch bag, like a personal cooler and I just love all the detail.  The adjustable shoulder strap makes it easy to throw over my shoulder when my hands are full with other things.  There are so many pockets to hold smaller things, there is a large front pocket with Velcro closure, a zippered large back pocket and two side pockets.  There is a nice utensil zippered pouch that is very unique and a great thing to have.  The insulated interior is easy to wipe clean on both the lunch bag and utensil pouch.  The opening of the lunch bag has dual zippers so it is easy to get in and out of .  This is also great to use as a small diaper bag that will keep bottles, sippy cups and snacks cool when you are on the go.  I highly recommend this insulated lunch bag and I am very interested in the other products on Miss Lucy’s Monograms Webpage.

Milo’s Kitchen Home-Style Dog Treats Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Recently, I received an assortment of home-style dog treats to review from Milo’s Kitchen.  This was great news to our four legged testers.  We put a lot of thought into what we feed our pets.  We want to feed them healthy food and treats.  I was thrilled to know that Milo’s Kitchen Home-Style Dog Treats are  100% real jerky, sausage slices and meatballs.

Upon opening the bag, you could smell the meaty aroma and my husband who was walking by almost stuck his hand in the bag because he thought it was his beef jerky.  When I told him it was the new dog treats, he was impressed, in fact it looked better than beef jerky made for humans.  The chicken meatballs were a great size for treats and both our big and small dogs loved them.  The chicken jerky and sausage treats are favorites too and you can just see by looking at them that they are real.

They literally could not get enough and were very upset when treat time was over.  It is really nice to feel good about the treats we are giving them.  We will definitely be keeping Milo’s Kitchen Home-Style Dog Treats in abundance in this kitchen.

I recently received an umbrella, raincoat, hanger and rain boots from the Kidorable Space Hero Collection.  What a fun design, and my four year old loved the spaceships and aliens.  The boots were easy for him to slip on and off himself and the raincoat has very easy to fasten snaps.  The umbrella is super sturdy and very easy to put up and down.  Everything is so detailed and that makes using rain gear fun for little ones.  No more having to beg them to use an umbrella or wear their rain boots, now they can’t wait to use this rain gear.   The quality is great and I know that it will stand up to the wear and tear kids dish out.  It is great that Kidorable can take the ordinary and make it extraordinary and durable to boot. (no pun intended 🙂 )

As parents we worry a lot about our kids.   We know some sun is good for Vitamin D, too much is bad and increases our risk of skin cancer.  Sunscreens can protect our kids, but there is much conflict on that topic as well.  The best way to protect our children and ourselves is through the use of protective clothing.
