Bialetti “Trends” 5 Qt. Purple Pasta Pot Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Bialetti has a great 5 QT Pasta Pot that makes cooking pasta easy and safe.   First off it comes in 3 great colors, purple, orange and blue so it makes a statement in your kitchen even when you are not cooking.  I chose to review the purple and let me tell you, this is a great looking and very functional pot.  It is large enough and long enough to hold any kind of pasta without breaking.  Spaghetti and lasagna noodles are no problem.  It has a non-stick interior and its locking strainer lid lets you strain pasta or any food with ease.  We highly recommend this Bialetti Pasta Pot.

HearthSong, Magz Construction Set Review and $50 Gift Certificate Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Recently, I was asked to select a product to review from HearthSong.  HearthSong is a company I have a long history with.  In today’s world some companies open today and close tomorrow, but I can tell you from experience, HearthSong is a company with staying power.  As the mother of 5 children who range in age from young adults to toddlers, I have been purchasing through HearthSong for a very long time.  Their selection of unique, imaginative and constructive toys have always been one of the best I have seen.  The fact that many years later they are still as much of a go to company as when my older children were toddlers, shows that they have stood the test of time and they are a reputable company you can trust.

I chose to review the 280 piece Magz Construction Set.  Magnets are so much fun and we especially love them in this house, so I knew this would be a hit for kids and adults.  When we received the package we could not wait to open it up.

We emptied all the pieces into a plastic tub and the fun began!!!

As you can see we had a ball and I want to let you know we do not let the children play with these unsupervised.  When we take the plastic tub out that is stored out of reach when not in use, we all sit down and play with the kids.  These are not recommended for children under 3 and caution should be used with any child who puts things in their mouth regardless of age.

One of the best things about Magz is that the magnets are strong.  A major complaint I hear of magnetic construction toys is that the magnets are not strong and the creations fall apart with a tap or less.  I can tell you our creations were able to be manipulated and held in all sorts of ways without falling apart.  HearthSong has such a great selection and you are sure to find something any child will adore.  Other items you can find on HearthSong are: Backyard Safari Sets, Personalized Chef Apron & Hat, Connectagons Treetop and much more.

Diggin Products, Skuut Wooden Balance Bike Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I received a Skuut Wooden Balance Bike by Diggin Products to review. The Skuut™ is a wooden balance bike for children ages 2 to 5. It has no pedals and no training wheels. My peanut 2 year old was so excited to try it out.  My husband had it assembled very easily within minutes of taking it out of the box.  We put the seat on its lowest position and then let Luke try it out.  He was ecstatic to have a 2 wheel bicycle and he felt so accomplished riding it around and got braver and braver as he took some little glides the first time riding on the road.  He is a little guy but with the seat at the lowest level it was great for him and he could be like his big brother.  He was able to go down and up small hills and turn the bike around with ease. Luke was so proud of himself and it showed in his face.   My husband and I looked at each other and said it will be a few days and he will be running and gliding on this bike.

Zoobies Blanket Pet Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently connected with Zoobies and I was asked to choose a Blanket Pet to review.  Since Luke is my blanket baby, I picked Lencho The Lion from their safari collection.  Luke is like Linus, and totes his blanket with him everywhere.  He loves plush, soft, cozy blankets and I figured he would just flip over this Zoobie Blanket Pet.   Lencho The Lion is so soft, he is a plush friend, a great pillow and a super soft blanket.  This Blanket Pet is great for traveling because it is compact and a three in one pet.  The child can play with just the plush toy, undo the Velcro fastners and have a great soft pillow of finally unzip the pillow to reveal a large super soft plush blanket.  The blanket can be detached to come completely off the pet if you wish and is machine washable.  When nap time is done, the blanket can be folded and stuffed back in and the pet zippered and you are good to go.
