Okay, I know it is still Summer but I need to tell you about a new product that will help organize your little one when school starts.  This great Homework Caddy will help make your lives easier.  This great caddy will organize all the things your child needs for school, keep track of  schoolwork, books, appointments, and meeting scheduling.  This hanging folder system will help to organize all the papers and assignments that come home and help your child stay neat and organized and be able to find things they need.  As moms I think we can relate too well to the mad dash for the library book or permission slip that needs to be found so your child will not miss the bus or be late for school.  We don’t want our children to start their mornings with frantic searches to find something and the atmosphere that creates.  This caddy wil be your child’s go to place for their school things and will establish organizational skills that will serve them well in life.

Ethan will start pre-school in the Fall and I was sent the sports style Homework Caddy to review.  I love it, it comes with all you need to get it up including the hooks.  Now we can start with a fresh slate and develop a pattern of organizing the papers we need and keep track of all the dates we need to remember.  Children do better when they have structure and a schedule and this hanging folder system really helps to establish that.  Mornings run much smoother when we are not frantically trying to find something while staying on schedule.  I think this Homework Caddy makes lives much easier for both children and parents alike.  The sports design is just right for Ethan who is a sports fanatic.  This great organizational caddy is fun for him to use and we look forward to starting off the new school year with it.

Rubbermaid 8 Piece Glass Food Storage With Easy Find Lids Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I don’t know about your family, but we are always using food storage containers to store left-overs.  The problem is, that most food storage containers are plastic.  You cannot warm the food up in the oven in plastic containers and I do not like to microwave anything in plastic.  So that means if we want to heat up something, we need to transfer it to an oven safe container to heat it up.  Seems very unproductive, doesn’t it?  Rubbermaid introduced a new Glass Food Storage System in March of this year.  This is the only Glass Food Storage System on the market with Easy Find Lids.  They are oven safe up to 425 degrees, freezer safe, dishwasher safe, leak proof, and BPA Free.  The lids have built-in gaskets that create a leak proof seal to keep foods fresher, longer.  What I like most, is that I can take something out of the refrigerator or freezer and warm it in the oven or microwave and then serve, in the same glass container.  One less thing to do when we are trying to get our families fed and less dishes to wash.  The containers and lids nest together to save space and look neat in your cabinets.

TOTO Products Take Out Time Out Mat and Star Stash Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Do your kids tend to test you when you are out?  Do you find it hard to be consistent with your discipline when you are out, traveling or visiting?  If so, then I think you will love these great items I recently received to review from TOTO Products.  The first is the Take-Out Time-Out Disciplinary Mat.  This mat fits neatly in a small drawstring pouch that you can keep in your purse or diaper bag.  Now you have a waterproof time out spot that can be fit to a chair, stair, or even the floor.  The mat is machine washable and very durable.  This is a great way to show consistency in discipline to your child.  It can also be used if 2 or more children are fighting over a toy and can’t agree to take turns, the toy can be placed on the mat until the children agree to share.

The other product is the Star Stash.  The Star Stash lets you reward your child for good behavior at home, out or traveling.  The system includes a Star Stash case for the child and a carrying tote for the parents.  Includes 20, one star coins and 10, ten star coins. This is a great way to acknowledge your child’s good behavior, encourage responsibility and build self-esteem.

Donsuemor Madeleines Gift Box Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Donsuemor recently sent me a box of assorted, individually wrapped madeleines in a medley of flavors – Traditional, Chocolate, Lemon Zest, Dipped, and Dipped Chocolate, to review.  Let me tell you, this was one delicious review.  From the elegant presentation of the madeleines in the custom designed gold embossed gift box, we knew we were in for a treat.  We were not disappointed, these delicious cookies were just that and more.  My favorite was the chocolate dipped, Alexandra’s was the lemon zest, Jimi favored the traditional and the boys liked the chocolate best.  There is definitely something for everyone in this assortment.

I recently connected with ERGObaby, and they asked me to pick a carrier to review.  I chose the Organic River Rock Green Baby Carrier.  When I received it, I could not wait to try it out.  The softness of the fabric was the first thing I noticed taking it out of the box, it felt so comfortable and cozy.  It was very easy to get on and I tried the back, hip and front carry options.  My husband and I both tried it and our youngest is about 24 lbs and was very comfortable to carry, our4 year old who is about 10 lbs heavier also fit well and was not a strain to carry.  They both loved it and we will definitely be using it a lot with an upcoming vacation and the summer activities that are planned.  The straps are fully adjustable and ultra padded for supreme comfort.  The carrier requires an infant insert for babies less than 4 months but has a weight capacity of 45 lbs so this is something you can use for a long time.

Childrensneeds.com, Sandbox Backhoe/Digger Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

                                                                                                                                                     

My two littlest boys love trucks, love watching excavators and can name just about every working truck there is.  They love to play with their toy excavators so when we were sent these Sandbox Diggers from Childrensneeds.com, they were thrilled.  Assembly was a breeze and only required the base to be connected to the main arm and the seat to be attached.  In no time at all they were ready to dig.  We emptied a bale of peat moss and topped that off with 4 bags of pea gravel to make it fun.  Needless to say they had a blast.  I really like that these backhoe diggers help to develop the child’s manipulative skills and build dexterity.  Navigating the ride on  and working the digger backhoe really improves childrens’ hand-eye coordination.
