Mini Shatsu Sky Guitar Tee & Ear Bud Shorts Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently connected with MiniShatsu.com and was asked to pick an outfit to review.  I admit it was hard to choose, they have so many great styles.  I ended up picking the Sky Guitar Tee and the Ear Bud Shorts, and I received them recently.  You can see the quality the moment you touch them.  They look and feel great and are so comfortable for kids to wear.  The shorts have an adjustable waist which is so handy for my super skinny son.  He also loved that the interiour waist band has different colored monsters on it.  The ear buds that are hanging from the pocket make these shorts so fun and trendy for kids.  The shirt is very detailed with mock layers and no neck label to irritate delicate skin.  My son loves the guitar and so any shirt with a guitar is a hit but this one he likes especially since it is so detailed and is printed front and back.

Fair Trade Sports Respect Size 5 Soccer Ball Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Dassant Baking Mix Assortment Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent a selection of Dassant Baking Mixes to review.

I made the Vanilla Bean Cake and the Meyer Lemon Cake.  They were very easy and quick to prepare.

They baked for about 40 minutes and then I let them cool.  I made a Madagascar Vanilla Buttercream Frosting for the French Vanilla Cake.  I made a fresh Lemon Vanilla Buttercream Frosting for the Meyer Lemon Cake.

Both cakes were great but I preferred the Meyer lemon which with the lemon frosting won hands down for me.  Jimi and Ray and the little ones liked the vanilla and Michael agreed with me favoring the lemon. Flipple Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

It was a moment of absent-mindedness that sparked an idea, and inspired Linda Lewis to invent the Flipple. She was out on the boat with her family; at lunchtime, they set anchor for lunch. This is when Linda realized that there weren’t any baby bottles in the cooler for her grandson.  When a hungry baby squalls, its thirst for milk has to be quenched ASAP! So Linda improvised quickly with formula and a water bottle. Unfortunately, it was quite a struggle to get the powdered formula into the water bottle, and even more of a challenge getting the baby to drink from the bottle.  After this frustrating experience, Linda poured all of her creative efforts into creating a solution for parents who run into this common situation. Linda’s ingenious solution, the Flipple, allows parents to leave bottles at home; all they need are clean nipples for easy feedings on-the-go.

While out on the road, parents can use fresh, bottled water to mix baby’s formula. The Flipple screws onto the water bottle and acts as a funnel to pour the powdered formula into the water bottle. Then, the Flipple is “flipped” over and screwed onto the water bottle again. This time, the baby nipple can be screwed onto the top of the Flipple, and voila! …instant baby bottle on the go!The versatility of the Flipple is a mother’s miracle for the entire family. Those who use powder mixes of any kind will appreciate its convenience. The Flipple can be used to add vitamin supplement powders to water bottles, mix protein drinks at the gym and add flavor packets to water bottles.

tazzini Stainless Steel Bottle Review and Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

 I recently was asked to pick a tazzini stainless steel bottle to review.  I picked the peace sign design and I just love it.  The bottle is BPA & toxin free, leak-proof, easy to clean, 100% recyclable and holds over 24 ounces.  I love that I can take drinks on the go in such a stylish and healthy container.  I am on the go a lot, so being able to take water, coffee, juice or other beverages with me is very important.  I also need containers that are made of safe and healthy materials and are leak-proof.  Tazzini bottles fill that bill for me and are stylish to boot.
