Smiley Cookie Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Smileycookie.com Logo

I was recently sent one dozen large Smiley Cookies.  From the box they came in, to the cookie itself, you could just not help but smile.  My little ones loved these cookies and wanted the face in their favorite color.  The big kids liked them too, they had a great taste and were not rock hard like a lot of decorated cookies, that look great but are almost impossible to bite.  These cookies were moist and delicious.  These cookies would be great to send to that new college student who is away from home for the first time.  Great for grandparents to send to their grandchildren who don’t live near them and for anyone that just needs a smile.

I am pleased to tell you that, Smiley Cookie is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win one dozen of these delicious cookies.  Than you Smiley Cookie for the review cookies and for sponsoring this delicious give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!  Open to US Residents only.

Bakers Sto ‘N Go Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

It is almost time for back to school, scouts will be starting up, PTA meetings, tailgating, and soccer games will be in full swing.  This usually means carting baked goods and snacks to meetings, activities and class parties.  Recently, I was sent a Bakers Sto ‘N Go to review.  It looks compact but it really holds a lot.  I was able to put in 2 trays of different brownies and a tray of large cookies.  The multiple slots and trays allows a lot of versatility of what kind of baked goods you can transport in the Bakers Sto ‘N Go.  It is even great for tall items like cake pops if you turn the container vertically.  The handle is great and you need just one hand to carry it.  As moms we know, we are always juggling multiple items so to be able to have a hand free is always a plus.  I also like that I can store brownies and cookies in the Bakers Sto ‘N Go on my counter-top and it is easy to get a treat and close it back up and keep everything fresh.  It even has trays with depressions that can hold deviled eggs.  The trays can also hold appetizers or sandwiches.  This great container is BPA and lead free and is made in the USA.  This is a product Mommy Ramblings recommends highly to its readers.

Bakers Sto ‘N Go36+9- is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win a Bakers Sto ‘N Go.  Thanks Bakers Sto ‘N Go for the review product and for sponsoring this awesome give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!  Open to US Residents.

Clothes and Go Review and Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Recently, I was sent the Clothes and Go to review.  I think this is a great product that allows you to take your clothing on hangers out of your closet and transport it so that everything  is ready to hang when you get where you are going.  It saves time and clothing is not wrinkled like when you have to fold it up and stuff it in a suitcase or bag.  Ideal for students going off to college.  Clothes and Go was just named one of the top college must haves by www.studentadvisor.com.  As a mom, I love products that make my life easier and this is definitely one that does.  Packing and unpacking  is a pain and I think we all know that.  How many times do we have an open suitcase on our floor just because we don’t have the time to rehang everything back up?   With the Clothes and Go you will just be able to slip your clothes right back in your closet.  The Clothes and Go lets me spend less time packing and unpacking and allows me to enjoy more time with my family.   I think this product is so great for college students who already have so much to pack and put away in a tiny dorm room.

Kinder-Glo Nightlight Review & Give-Away!!!

I was recently asked to pick a Kinder-Glo nightlight to review.  I picked the elephant because it was so cute, it was hard to choose though.  When it arrived my tiny 2-year-old claimed it as his.  He told me, it was his elephant.  We set it up in his room and he just loves it.  His 4 year old brother loves it too and has declared that he needs one for his room.  I can’t really disagree, it is such a great nightlight.  It is durable, huggable and the different colors are just great.  Looks likes this mommy is on her way to order another.

Linksys E4200 Maximum Performance Dual-Band N Router Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was thrilled when Cisco asked me if I wanted to do a back to school review and give-away for the Linksys E4200 Performance Dual-Band N Router.  We have more computers, laptops, netbooks, smart phones and other wireless equiptment than I care to count, in our busy and connected family.   We were in need of a new router since ours was older and just not cutting it anymore.  My husband said this router was super easy to set up, all our computers and wireless devices were up and running in minutes.  We love that you can perform tests to check the internet connection speed and change the settings on the router through your computer.  Our wireless printer connected very easily as well and we are running better than ever.  We are very happy to have the dual bands so it is nearly impossible to lose internet connection.  Another great feature on this router is that it has a USB port that you can connect a huge hard drive to that the whole family can save and share on.

The Linksys E4200 wireless router is perfect for anyone interested in building the ultimate connected home. The E4200 is the first building block that can handle gaming consoles, HDTV streaming video, Roku boxes, eReaders, smartphones, and any other wireless device that needs streaming connectivity. Also, with back to school fast approaching, now is a great time for parents to make sure their homes are well-equipped for their kids to succeed academically and maximize learning from home to school.  A simple and cost-effective way to make the home an ideal learning environment is to transform the home into a learning hotspot with home wireless.

Today’s middle and high school students have grown up with mobile technology and feel most comfortable in a wireless environment for anytime/anywhere studying, interactive web research, easy collaboration and communication and parent accessibility.  The wireless home learning environment also more closely aligns with how they use technology at school. The Linksys E4200 router from Cisco lets parents easily set, use and manage their own home wireless. The E4200 is also perfect for college students setting up wireless in their first home away from home.

Cisco is generously sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win a brand new Linksys E4200 Performance Dual-Band N Router.  Thank you Cisco for the review router and for sponsoring this great back to school give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!  Open to US Residents.

Okkatots Travel, Baby Depot Bag Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently asked to review an Okkatots Travel, Baby Depot Bag.  I think I can safely say this bag has impressed me more than I can convey in words, but I will try.  I am one of those moms that always brings more than I need.  With two toddlers I always bring a big diaper bag with me.  It is filled with wipes, hand sanitizer, diapers, bibs, jackets, bottles, sippy cups, toys, cell phone, snacks and more. The first night I used this bag,  we were going to the county fair.  I was not only able to fit all of the above but my huge DSLR camera, speedlight and my video camera in the bag and I still had room to spare.  Not only that but my equipment was cushioned and protected, I could sling the whole bag over my shoulder as we climbed the bleachers and I could attach it to my stroller.  It was manly enough for my husband to carry and it works well past the baby years, which is really important when investing in a great diaper bag.  We are going on a trip next month and believe me this bag will be going with us.  It is my go to bag when going out with the kids and I have yet to run out of room in it and that is something I have not been able to say before.  I love all the compartments and net pouches, I think there are parts of this bag that I have not yet discovered.  It opens multiple ways, has a dvd compartment, an insulated compartment that can hold up to 6 bottles, hangs open in a closet or stands open on a counter top.  I could go on and on and not cover it all.  I truly recommend this bag as highly as I can, it is durable and will hold up to years of use.

Unattached at the fair from my stroller ready for me to sling over my shoulder on our way up the bleachers.

The Okkatots Travel Baby Depot Bag is like nothing else on the market. Some features include:

  • Opens two ways for convenient access: like a regular backpack from the top or unzips all the way around to open like a book
  • change station complete with Diaper dispenser & space for sixteen large diapers, large padded change mat, wet-wipes pouch and multiple pockets for other items
  • Outside pocket securely holds DVD player for viewing then zips and stores easily when done (Note: DVD player not included) (DVD player not included)
  • Multiple pockets and pouches keep small or important items from getting lost, such as keys, toys, travel papers, DVDs, and books
  • Versatile carrying handles clip and unclip to hang from hooks or rods while the hard, durable base keeps bag upright by itself
  • Insulated pocket holds several baby bottles or sippy cups & opens fully for easy cleaning.
  • Ventilated pouch keeps two pacifiers clean and dry; removes for easy cleaning
  • Waterproof pouch locks in moisture to keep everything else dry – perfect for wet clothes or food
So do you think this is one great bag?  Then you will be thrilled to know Okkatots is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win their very own Okkatots Travel Baby Depot Bag.  Thank you Okkatots for the review bag and for sponsoring this awesome give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!

me4kidz medibag Review & medibuddy Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

me4kidz - Clean it, Fix it & Back to Play™

I was recently sent a medibag, family first aid kit form me4kidz to review.  This first aid kit is geared toward families and kids.   The styling of the product makes it non intimidating to children.  I smiled when I saw the replica doctor’s bag that everything came in.  It reminded me of the medical kits I had as a child.  I think the choice of storage container is great.  I mean children are scared when they get injured and as parents we can comfort them using a first aid kit like this.  It has just about everything you need and even a first aid guide that includes CPR instructions.  This is a great kit to keep in the house and take on trips, or just keep one in the car.  It even has stickers for the kids.    Something I really love is that I can get a refill pack for this bag for free, I just need to pay $3.95 for shipping.    If you are looking for a great first aid kit for your family, look no further.  Look at  everything included:

(12)  Assorted Kid-Friendly bandages
(12)  Junior bandages

(12)  3/4″ X 3″ Sheer bandages

Sockeye Media,Mother Goose Club Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent a Mother Goose Club DVD and 2 CDs to review.  We had a rainy day and took advantage of gathering around and watching the DVD.  The boys enjoyed it very much.  It was filled with great characters and familiar nursery rhymes and songs.  The CDs are loaded with great nursery rhyme songs your child will love to sing along with.   Nursery rhymes help children learn to read. Research has shown that familiarity with Mother Goose and other nursery rhymes helps children develop pre-reading skills, including the ability to detect rhymes. Children who can recognize rhyming words learn to read more quickly and successfully than their peers. This relationship holds true regardless of a child’s socio-economic background or the education level of the parents.

Nursery rhymes are also short and rhythmic, which makes them easy for children to learn and memorize. As children hear, sing or read nursery rhymes, they develop “phonemic awareness” or the ability to detect the individual sounds that make up words, a crucial first step in learning to read. Nursery rhymes also introduce children to new vocabulary, which increases comprehension andbenefits learning in all subjects. Most importantly, nursery rhymes are full of colorful characters and stories, which make them fun. The delight children experience as they engage in rhyme activities fosters an enduring enthusiasm for books and reading.

Good Nite Lite Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent a Good Nite Lite to review.  We placed it in our 4-year-old’s room and he absolutely loves it.  This nite lite has a clock on the back that parents can set, so the nite lite turns into a blue moon at night and a bright yellow sun in the morning.  Children recognize the change from moon to sun as a signal that it is time to get up.  Ethan still tells me in the morning how the nite lite changed and that it will get blue when it is dark outside and time to go to bed.  It is quality made and adorable to boot.   You can place it in its stand on a bed side table or plug directly into an outlet.

“You Are a Gift to the World” Flip Sided Book by Laura Duksta Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent the book, “You Are a Gift to the World” by New York Times Bestselling Author, Laura Duksta to review.  This large beautifully written and illustrated book is actually 2 books.  The first book reads to the middle and then you flip it over and the other side is a book titled, “The World is a Gift to You.”  Like love this flip sided book never ends.

I read this to Luke and Ethan this evening and they just loved it.  They were very interested in the illustrations by Dona Turner and the words were beautiful for a parent to read to their children.  After we finished, Ethan told me he wanted the book to stay in his bed with him.  That is a very big compliment from my 4-year-old, who reserves his bed for special books.   As a parent I love reading and talking about books with my kids and this book is not only beautiful to read but it gives us a lot of topics to discuss and elaborate on.   Mommy Ramblings highly recommends this book.
