O.R.E. Originals Chalk-a-Doodle Placemat Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently recieved a Chalk-a-Doodle placemat from O.R.E. Originals to review. I admit, based on the low price and since it said it was a placemat, I was not expecting much.  I will tell you I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped the item.  It was definitely not a flimsy placemat, but a quality chalk board that can even be wall-mounted with its chalk shelf.  When I wrote on it, I was doubly impressed. Many chalkboards fall short for me but the surface on this board was great quality and so easy to write on.  The colored, dustless chalk was vibrant and easy to write with.  The board was also able to erase cleanly with the felt eraser.  I will definitely be purchasing another one of these for Luke.  I love that we can sit at the kid’s table and use them to practice letters, writing names etc.  So Mommy Ramblings gives this product 2 thumbs up for it’s quality and affordability. Chalk-a-Doodle measures 14.75 x 18.5 inches, includes recycled felt eraser, chalk ledge and a box of colored chalk.

StickersPlus Monthly Onesie Baby Picture Number Stickers Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

 Babies grow fast, and years from now while looking back at photos, you might have to guess what age your little one was in a particular    picture. Well, we recently connected with StickersPlus, a cute store on Etsy.com, about doing a review on Monthly Baby Onesie Stickers.  I had a hard time choosing the stickers I wanted to try, there were so many, and each of them more adorable and vibrant than the next!  I chose these absolutely charming Cocoa Owls and Dots Necktie stickers. The matching patterns of red and browns just caught my eye.

The idea of these stickers is, you stick one on your baby’s onsie for pictures. Then while looking back years from now, you won’t have to guess just how old he or she was in the picture, the sticker will boldly display it. Each set comes in matching patterns and colors so if you want to make a collage of monthly pictures to document your baby‘s first year, they will all tie in together.The stickers are made out of quality waterproof sticker paper, and look very sharp. They came in a clear cellophane wrapper that make them great for gifts. It was very easy to take the laser cut sticker off and apply it to my baby’s shirt. While taking pictures, he discovered the bright tie on his tummy and couldn’t keep his eyes off of it, it was precious! I look forward to the coming months so I can try out the rest of the delightful little patterns.

Here’s how it works, Kissaluvs biodegradable liners come in a perforated roll, so you tear off one liner, and lay it in the diaper. If you are putting it in a small diaper you can cut it in half so it fits better. Put the diaper on baby, and away he goes, while momma is left with the knowledge that once your little one fills his diaper, you won’t have to deal with a huge mess. All that is required of you is, flip the liner into the toilet and flush the mess away, no dunking required! This is a great product for daycare workers, babysitters or dads who don’t know what to do with cloth diaper poopies! When you are changing a pee diaper, you can just throw the liner away instead of flushing it.

These are my thoughts on Kissaluvs liners: They are very thin and soft, almost fabric like material, so it is soft against the baby’s skin. You can rest assured though, that it is not fabric, and will break down just like toilet paper in the sewer or septic system. They held up very well when time came to test them out, despite how thin they were. They are tough little liners that do their job efficiently!

popchips Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Recently, I was sent an assortment of popchips to review.  These healthy snacks are not fried or baked.  Delicious all-natural, and healthier, these great tasting snack chips are popped.  Popping, keeps all the taste in but takes out half the fat that is in fried chips and none of the fake stuff that is in baked chips to give them flavor.  Now as parents, we know a healthy snack is not worth anything if kids don’t like it.  Popchips come in many varieties and there is a flavor for just about everyone. Ethan liked the sour cream and onion, I liked the sea salt and vinegar, Luke liked the barbeque and my husband liked the cheddar.  So if you are looking for a healthy snack chip you should give popchips a try.

D-Link’s mydlink-enabled Wireless N Day/Night Network Camera (DCS-930L) Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently asked by D-Link if I wanted to review D-Link’s mydlink-enabled Wireless N Day/Night Network Camera (DCS-930L).  This great camera allows you to keep an eye on things when in another room or even to check things at home when you are out, through mydlink on your smart phone.  What a great idea!  I wish we had this when we went on vacation last May.  The camera was super easy for my husband to hook up and it works great.  We can all access mydlink on our computers, laptops, netbooks and smartphones.  It really gives us peace of mind especially if we are not home, to just check up on the house, pets, etc.  The thing I like is it keeps my older boys on their toes because I remind them I can still have my eye on them even when I am not home.  It is great in the little one’s playroom because I can see them when I am in the kitchen or another room and I will see just who did do that.  Makes a great Nanny-Cam to keep an eye on your precious babes when they are left in the hands of a nanny or babysitter.  Have I told you how much I like this camera?
