Bright Starts Comfort and Harmony Cozy Cart Cover Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent a Bright Starts Comfort and Harmony Cozy Cart Cover in Calypso Blue to review. I love using cart covers because I hate putting my child in a germy shopping cart. The problem with some cart covers are that they are not large enough, getting them on is a hassle and they slip off. I do not want to fight with a cart cover. There are other covers that only cover the front handle of the cart and not the sides. I never understood that. Are the sides less germy that you don’t mind your baby sucking on them? So I was thrilled to find this cover is huge. I also really like the material which is like almost a water-resistant kind of fabric that wipes clean and is so easy to care for. I own a lot of cart covers and I have to tell you, I have never seen any with the finishing on the leg holes that this cover has. I was so impressed, it covered everything and had wide holes for my toddler’s feet. I tested it out on a long grocery shopping trip and the cover never slipped once, even with an inquisitive toddler inside. It is really padded and super comfy. Luke liked it a lot and never once wanted to get out. This versatile cover even works great on restaurant high chairs and if it gets messy, it is machine washable. I really like this shopping cart/high cover that keeps my child safe from germs in style.

Smart Mom Teething Bling Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

My baby is in the midst of teething, so he is constantly chewing on things, fingers, blankets, toys, shoulders, and whatever else he can get his hands on! The first time I offered it to him, he knew exactly what to do with it, and right into his mouth it went! As I am writing this, he is playing with it and talking to it!  The bangles will be awesome for shopping, I usually have something on my wrist to keep him busy with while I shop, so these will work perfectly for that.  Sometimes I just give him the bangles by themselves when he is sitting on the floor looking for something to chew on, and he can safely play with them.  This pendant and bangles are stylish imposters, since they look so cute, people might think they are just jewelry!  When my sister saw me wearing the pendant, she complimented me on it, and was surprised when I told her it was teething jewelry.

Dinosoles 3D Sculpted Footwear Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently connected with Dinosoles Footwear.  Chris generously sent me 2 pair of 3D Sculpted Footwear in the T-Rex LT Black style for my boys.  From the moment I took these out of the boxes, my boys were in awe.  We could not get them on their feet fast enough, and once on, they did not want to take them off.  Luke did not take them off until it was time to actually get in his crib, and he had to have them right next to him and  put them on immediately upon waking up in the morning.  He would have slept in them if we let him.  Ethan proudly wore them to his first day of pre-school and they made quite a hit.  There are so many features of these shoes that kids just love.  The sculpted 3D dinosaur, the lights, the Velcro straps for easy on and off, add that to the fact they feel great and provide wonderful support and you have the recipe for footwear that kids love.   These shoes are so detailed even down to the soles, where they are decorated with the styling of a dino foot.  Everything about these shoes is fun and we are hooked.  I am glad they have sizes up to 2 because I know my boys will be sad when their feet grow and we will be purchasing bigger sizes.  If you are looking for a great shoe that your little boy will love, look no further then Dinosoles.

Water Wear Swim Trunks, Swim Diaper Cover & Sun Hat Review and Give-Away!!! Give-Away Ended!!!

I know, you may think it is the end of summer and why would I be posting a review of a swim diaper cover and sun hat.  Even though, summer is sadly winding down, that does not mean the need for safe pool wear and sun protection is not needed.  Many people take vacations in the fall and winter in warmer climates and many kids take swim classes at indoor pools year round.

I was sent a Swim Trunks, Swim Diaper Cover and Sun Hat for my 2 year old from iplay Water Wear.  Both items are UPF 50+ sun protection, meet US safety standards and are quick dry.  Swim diapers help prevent any accidents in babies and toddlers who are still in diapers when they are swimming.  While you may think that an accident may just be embarrassing, the fact is that it is a health issue involving waterborne illness.  More and more pools are now requiring a swim diaper cover over a disposable swim diaper.  Swim diaper covers fit snugly around legs and waist.  These trunks are also comfortable and look like regular swim trunks.

The sun hat I was sent provided great sun protection and had a wide brim to keep sun off Luke’s face.  It has nice ties to keep the hat secure even on windy days.  Luke liked this hat so much he actually wanted to wear it to bed.  He finally settled for just taking it to bed with him.  Sun protection is so important, it is great to find protective clothing and hats that are stylish, comfortable and your child likes to wear.

VeggieTales DVD, “Princess and the Pop Star” Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent the VeggieTales DVD, “Princess and the Pop Star” A Story of Trading Places, to review.  Last weekend, I popped it in for the kids to watch with us.  This family-friendly title teaches an important lesson about being yourself.  Princess Poppyseed, lives on her family’s farm and never has time to herself.  She has a big family and she longs for the life of Pop Star Vanna Banana.  Meanwhile Vanna is upset with how lonely her life is and how she wishes she had brothers and sisters.  On a chance meeting at the playground Vanna and Princess change places and the girls both realize, that the life that they longed for doesn’t fulfill all their dreams.  The girls learn that the life that God gave them is the life that they were uniquely and lovingly designed for.

DVD features the new song, “You Never Are” from Dove Award winning Female Vocalist of the Year, Francesca Battistelli.

This is such a great DVD that tells the story that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.  My boys loved all the singing and cute characters.  As a parent I like that this DVD shows kids that just because another person’s life seems better, does not mean it is.  The songs and the story are entertaining and it is a great family movie.

Frecklebox Lunch Box and Sticker Review & $30 Gift Card Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently picked some items to review from Frecklebox.  Frecklebox is the place to shop for personalized gifts for kids.  I chose the personalized lunch box and personalized stickers to review.  I received my items very quickly.  I chose the lunch box in the rockstar style and had it personalized for Ethan.  I knew the lunch box would be a hit because his favorite color is green, he loves guitars and it would have his name on it.  I was not wrong, this box is great.  I really like that it has a chalkboard in the inside of the lid.  What a great way to leave your child a note everyday.  These lunch boxes are not just for lunch, they make perfect boxes for your child to store special things. Also makes a nice little traveling box your child can pack with toys or small games for the car, play dates, or going out to eat.  Ethan’s name is on the front and the back and each side so there is no mistaking that it is his.

I then chose some personalized stickers for Luke and Ethan.  For Ethan I chose the “cool kid” stickers to coordinate with his lunch box and for Luke I chose the “Camping Out” stickers because they were so cute and Luke loves to find bugs and other critters outside all the time.  I was very happy with the stickers, they were bright and great quality and large, so they really stand out in the crowd.

Serif recently sent me their Craft Artist Platinum Edition to review.  This great set of 5 discs allows you to create millions of creative projects.  You can use it to make scrapbooks, invitations, certificates, cards, party kits, posters, favors, labels, photobooks, table decorations and more.  In 3 easy steps you can create a stunning project.  Just choose your project, personalize and embellish it, and then share it.  The pack includes, 5 discs full of stunning, high quality graphics, templates, and the CraftArtist Professional Program CD.

I was able to just load the discs and immediately start creating fun projects.  There are so many templates, graphics and ideas that it can be quite addicting.  One of the first things I made with this was my blog signature, which was so fast and simple.  I love making scrapbook pages that can be printed and framed to commemorate a special day or event.  It is so easy to embellish and personalize the templates and in mere minutes you have a beautiful creation.

This software is so great because at any time you can create a great project.  I love to be able to make my kids special certificates to celebrate special events like the first day of school, losing a tooth, being potty trained, and more.  Also, great to make little special cards to tuck in your children’s lunch especially for those just starting school for the first time.  The possibilities are endless.

I really like sharing products that make my life easier with my readers.  I was recently sent a Planet Wise Wet/Dry Bag in bumble dot pattern from Nicki’s Diapers to review.  Now, you do not need to use cloth diapers to appreciate and use this bag.  I do not use cloth diapers and yet this bag is a lifesaver.  It can be used for so many things.  I like it because I can put it in my beach bag if we are going swimming or to the beach. Then I can put the wet suits in the bag, and then in the beach bag without anything else getting wet.  It is very versatile because it has a dry item pocket too, so you can carry wet and dry items in the same bag.  It is also good for long road trips where inevitably someone’s clothes get wet or gross and I can just pop them in the bag and then take the bag in with me when we get home and toss it all into the wash.  Of course, if you use cloth diapers, you will find this bag great to store wet or messy diapers while out. The bag is also great for cosmetics, potty training, shoes, and the gym.   I love all the different patterns the bag comes in, truly something for everyone.
