GarageRackStorage.com, Large Garden Tool Storage Rack Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

If your garage is anything like ours, then you will understand my quest for a way to get it organized.  For instance, this spring I asked my husband where our Garden Weasel tool was.  He searched all over, told me we must have donated it or loaned it out, we bought a new one and then, shortly after that found the original.  There had to be a better way.  In my quest to get our garage organized, I connected with a great company, GarageRackStorage.com.  One of the first items that caught my eye, was the Large Garden Tool Storage Rack, which I was generously sent to review.  My husband got it up and we started to hang up some of our tools, we have a lot more to get up there. This rack is super strong and can hold all kinds of tools.  It is really versatile and fully customize-able as to how you can configure it, to hang what you need.  While we are still not ready for an issue of, “Garage Living” we are moving in the right direction.   If you are looking to organize your garage, then you really should take a look at GarageRackStorage.com, you are sure to find many great products to get your garage, shed, basement or barn more organized.

Undee Bandz Tie Dye Zippered Tote/Diaper Bag Review & Give-Away!!! 2 Winners!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent this great Tie Dye Zippered Tote that can be used as a diaper bag, to review from Undee Bandz.  This is a great bag with lots of zippered pockets, open pockets, interior pockets and a stretch elastic net pouch on the side to hold sippy cups, bottles, or your water bottle.  It is made of heavy durable fabric that will hold up to toting around lots of stuff.  Rhinestone peace sign on the front and peace necklace hanging from the handle straps add to the funky appeal of this bag.  Great for a diaper bag, gym bag, beach bag or just a great tote bag.  I really love this bag, as a mom I am always carrying around a ton of stuff, whether it is snacks for soccer, fleece jackets for the kids if it gets cool, books, paperwork, this tote fits the bill.  It is really large.  I was able to put a throw and a large knitted baby blanket in it and still have room.  It is really durable too and the fabric is super tough.  This bag can handle just about everything.

If you think this funky bag is something you would like, then you will be glad to know that Undee Bandz is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  2 lucky blog readers will win the green/blue peace tote bag.  Thank you Undee Bandz for the great review bag and for sponsoring this groovy give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!  Open to US residents only!!!

Jax LTD, How Tall Am I? Game Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently received the How Tall Am I? Game to review from Jax LTD.  This game requires no reading to play so it is great for little ones 3 -8.  2 to 4 players can play.  Roll the die and stack up the parts to create a crazy character!  With all the pieces in place, will your character measure up?  Use the custom measuring ruler to find out.  If your character is the tallest, you win!  With 30 different pieces to choose from, you can create a different character every time you play!

I really like playing board games with my kids, especially when it gets dark earlier and the days get colder.  It is nice to gather around the table and play a fun game.  I like that my little ones can play this game without having to read.  The funny characters they create keeps them laughing through the game.

If you think this game looks fun, they you will be happy to know that Jax LTD, makers of The Sequence Game, are sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win their own How Tall Am I?  Game.  Thank you Jax LTD for the review game and for sponsoring such a fun give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!

GroVia Gro-to-go Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

GroVia  recently provided me with a Gro-To-Go kit for review! This kit includes 3 super-cute, hybrid, waterproof covers, a package of 50 BioSoakers, and 3 packets of Tiny Bubbles laundry detergent. I was thrilled to pick out 3 gorgeous shells, and chose the planes, owls and nature prints. I was so excited to try out this system! The BioSoakers, which are made of biodegradable materials, lay right in the waterproof shells and have sticky patches to keep them in place. The shells use snaps to make them adjustable, so that they fit your baby from small to large. After adjusting the snaps, these diapers fit perfectly on my 17lb 7 month old, as well as my 23lb 2 year old! You can also buy the GroVia cotton soakers and use the shells with either BioSoakers or reusable ones!
I love using these for when we are in town. I don’t have to deal with storing the dirty diapers! I can just throw the BioSoakers away like disposable diapers without worrying about them sitting in a landfill for years since they break down faster than regular disposables! This is a great system for people who want the best of both diapering worlds, not having to deal with washing poopy diapers, plus getting the adorable cloth diaper prints!
The Tiny Bubbles laundry detergent works beautifully! I have been having troubles with diaper stinkies, and after using the Tiny Bubbles, the smells were much better. You can tell it is doing it’s job and making the diapers squeaky clean!
I was also sent a Hevea teether, it is an incredibly cute 100% natural rubber panda! My baby loves this little buddy of his, and likes to carry it around with him. This Hevea teether is so soft and squishy, and must feel great on tender little teething gums! It has several different textures on the surface so your baby can find the one that feels just right for the moment. I can not praise these diapers enough! I really loved them, and my babies seem to find them very trim and comfortable!

If you think these diapers are an ingenious idea, you will be pleased to hear that GroVia is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings! One lucky reader will win a GroVia Hybrid Trial Pack, which includes: 50 Eco-friendly BioSoaker Pads, and 2 GroVia Hybrid Shells in vanilla and madarin colors!! Thank you GroVia for the review products and for sponsoring this fabulous give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!! Open to US residents only.

Family Pastimes, Let’s Make Pizza Co-Operative Card Game Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently received a great co-operative card game from Family Pastimes called Let’s Make Pizza, to review.  This is such a fun game and has three levels of play. For very young players you use the red dot cards, add the green dot cards for a tougher game, and for the most challenging version, add the yellow dot cards.  The game is for ages 4 to 12 but even adults will enjoy playing this with their kids.  2 to 6 can play and the object of the game is everyone is a prep cook in pizza shop.  Everyone needs to work together to help the Chef fill the pizza orders coming in while keeping an eye on how hot the oven is getting.  You do not want to burn any pizzas.  The co-operative play aspect allows different ages to play together well.  This is an excellent game for the whole family.

About Family Pastimes:

Family Pastimes games are the inventions of Jim Deacove. Jim started making co-operative games for his own family, and was encouraged by friends to make more.

The Deacove family was and is no different from others. Sharing toys, helping mom and dad and being kind to others are values taught in all homes. To find games which help reinforce such sharing attitudes, however, is very difficult. Thus, Jim and Ruth felt the need to create some.

The “hobby” became a small business in their home 31 years ago (1972). Slow but steady growth in sales required moving the business into a cottage. With the addition of new games and greater interest by the public, a switch occurred. The family moved into the cottage and the business occupied the two stories of the old farm house. A new workshop was built in 1984 to replace the old farm house, destroyed by a terrible fire in October 1983.

Offset presses, silkscreening equipment, table saws, various other woodworking tools and an assortment of old and new machines provide the technology. The Deacoves, some local people and an eager bunch of students each summer provide the labor. The format is kept simple but attractive. The games are made in small quantities, as a labor of love.

Yes.

For 40 years plus now I have used eco-friendly materials in making my games. I have the safety lab tests from the best labs. All the appropriate Choke Test certificates for very small parts. I use 100% recycled pasteboard, water based glues, non-toxic paints on my wooden pieces, soy-based and latex inks on recycled papers, corrugated containers from recycled papers, recyclable shrink film and even take care to pack shipments with materials that I secure from local retailers who are happy that I will honor the oft forgotten third R and that is to Reuse.

I am thrilled to let you know that Family Pastimes is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win their own Let’s Make Pizza game.  Thank you Family Pastimes for the review game and for sponsoring this great give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  Open to US Residents.

Seasons UV Review and Prize Pack Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent a Superman Long Sleeve Beach and Bike Solar Guard to review from Seasons UV.  My son Ethan loves this shirt so much he wears it to bed.  Just because Summer is over does not mean that the need for sun protection is over.  I am a real stickler when it comes to protecting my family from overexposure to the sun’s rays.  Seasons UV has so many great styles that you will not need to bribe your child to wear it.  Great for Winter vacations or if you live in a warm climate.  The quality is great and they are so comfortable.  I think that my son chooses to wear the shirt as a pajama top shows that it is super comfortable.  The 50++SPF Beach & Bike Long Solar Guard  dries quickly to become all day sun protection wear . Hidden back pocket and longer in the back for building sand castles and riding your bike.

I am pleased to let you know that Seasons UV is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win a Seasons UV Prize Pack which includes: UV Swimwear, Sunglasses and Banana Boat Sunscreen.  Thank you Seasons UV for the review shirt and for sponsoring this awesome give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!  Open to US and Canadian residents.

Jedidiah, Made For Good Clothing Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent a Private II Walnut Jacket  from Jedidiah to review.  This jacket was perfect for my teenage son.  Very trendy and I knew he would love it.  I was not wrong.  This jacket is comfortable, warm, and stylish. Made of 80% Cotton and 20% Polyester it is easy to care for.  This zip hooded jacket has a super soft lining and ribbed cuffs and bottom band.  It has front zip pockets and front dual chest pockets.  The jacket is very well made and really looks sharp.  This jacket was such a hit in their line, that it sold out before I could even post the review, so I am linking to the great jackets they do have in stock.

Jedidiah is a humanitarian-based apparel brand aspiring to cultivate change, one garment at a time. Our mission is to use apparel sales as a vehicle to provide care, support and financial resources to those in need.  Each season, Jedidiah partners with a distinctive and effective non-profit organization to raise money and awareness for life-changing causes. Every Jedidiah piece is creatively inspired and tied to a cause, all benefiting their non-profit organization.

Made For Good company, Jedidiah, has announced the start of their collaboration with StandUp For Kids, their Fall/Holiday partner! StandUp For Kids is a national non-profit whose mission is to improve the lives of homeless teenagers and at risk youth. In Fall of 2010 Jedidiah visited the LA, MIami, and New York chapters of StandUp For Kids to discover and document the realities that homeless youth face. The visuals, thoughts, emotions and sentiments experienced on the trip served as the inspiration behind the line. Starting now, proceeds from their clothing will be used to help fund a brand new StandUp For Kids homeless center in New York City.

I really admire Jedidiah for the work they do with those in need.  It is wonderful to be able to support a company that does so much to give back.

I am thrilled to let you know that Jedidiah is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win their choice of any in stock t-shirt.  Thank you Jedidiah for the review jacket and for sponsoring this stylish give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  Open to US and Canadian residents.

Mother-ease Cloth Diapers Sandy’s System Review and Give-away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Mother-ese recently sent me a Sandy’s Fitted cloth diaper, absorbent liner and Rikki Wrap cover to try out. The fitted diaper and liner are made out of very soft stretchy cotton terry which makes it nice and comfy for my son. The Sandy’s Fitted diaper fits comfortably on my 23 pound, 2 year old on the smallest size snaps, and with the extra snaps, he has a lot of room to grow! It has an extra layer of absorbent fabric sewn into it’s core that works fine by itself, or along with the liner for added absorbency which works great for nighttime use! The Rikki Wrap comes in adorable Eco Theme  prints or solids, which actually have a wonderful story of bringing awareness to the plight of endangered species. I picked the Asia print, which features giant pandas, tiger cubs and other wildlife on a lush green background. When I look at it I am reminded of what it stands for as well as appreciating it’s charming print. It is made out of breathable waterproof fabric that holds in moisture. It fits nice and snugly over the Sandy’s fitted diaper, and works wonderfully at keeping my son’s clothes dry!

When you first decide to start cloth diapering, it can be overwhelming.  Trying to find out all the facts and weigh the differences between disposables and cloth. I know, when I first started, I had so many questions like: Do you really save money using cloth? How do you wash them? How is it helping the environment? And so many more. I had to search everywhere online to find my answers, it would have been great to have most of that information on one website. Well, now I know there is one website with a wealth of information on it that is a great online resource for accurate product names, statistics and information on cloth diapering! Mother-ese.com is a great education tool on cloth diapers. With 20 years of cloth diapering experience, you can be sure they know diapers! Mother-ease has a terrific, easy to navigate, shopping cart with category links on the side so you won’t get lost while shopping! They have so many different diaper packages for just starting out, part time and full time cloth diapering, they just make ordering so easy!

If you are a cloth diapering mama, or are interested in trying cloth out, you will be glad to hear that Mother-ease is providing a Sandy’s System for a give-away on Mommy Ramblings! One lucky blog reader will win a Sandy’s Fitted diaper , absorbent liner in their choice of white or unbleached fabric, and Rikki Wrap cover of their size and choice! Thank you Mother-ease for the review products and for sponsoring this fantastic diaper fluff give-away!!! Open to US and Canadian residents.

Original Sprout, Natural High Performance Hair and Skin Products Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was thrilled when I was recently sent an assortment of Original Sprout, Natural High Performance Hair and Skin Products to review.  I was sent  a selection from their Worry-Free Luxury Collection which included their best-selling Miracle Detangler, Natural Shampoo, and Scrumptious Cream.  As a mother I am very concerned about what is in the products we use.  I am especially aware of the products that have direct contact with our bodies like hair and skin products.  My toddler Luke has curly hair and it can get into a tangle sometimes in the back when he sleeps.  The Miracle Detangling Spray worked great and smelled great on his hair.  The Scrumptious Cream provides a soothing protective barrier that keeps skin soft & smooth as velvet. This multi-benefit cream is infused with Natural Zinc for Environmental Protection. Insects don’t like rosemary but I do because it helps calm and soothe sensitive skin. Non-greasy & extra hydrating for every skin type.   The Natural Shampoo is safe for babies, children and adults.  It is extra gentle to eyes and even provides sun protection. Organic emollients detangle & make rinsing effortless, saving time & water. Scalp, hair & skin are nourished and healthy. Leaves hair shiny, hydrated & easy to comb.

24 Hour Moisture Gift Set

Original Sprout products were created by a master stylist and mother, they bridge the gap between safe ingredients and salon performance like no other.

Nick Jr., “Wow Wow Wubbzy And The Fire Engine” DVD, Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Sound the alarm!  Everyone’s favorite bendy-tailed hero comes to the rescue in Wubbzy And The Fire Engine,” the latest “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!” DVD from Anchor Bay Entertainment.  Featuring Wubbzy and his pals from the Emmy Award®-winning Nick Jr.® TV series, the new “red hot” release is available at retailers nationwide now – just in time for National Fire Prevention Week, which starts on October 9.

“Fire engines and firefighters have long captured the imagination and won the hearts of children,” said Erin Carter, Executive Director of Brand Marketing, Anchor Bay Entertainment.  “And, when paired with Wubbzy, another favorite among preschoolers, these universally-popular elements take on a whole new level of appeal.  We look forward to bringing ‘Wubbzy And The Fire Engine’ and all the fun episodes on the new DVD to Wubbzy fans everywhere.”

 Wubbzy and his best buddies, Widget, Walden and Daizy, suit up for six memorable stories in “Wubbzy And The Fire Engine” ($16.98).  Each of the new title’s engaging episodes feature gentle lessons about helping out, working together and getting the job done that will resonate with kids everywhere.  This latest release whisks preschoolers along as Wubbzy has a fire engine adventure with Widget in “Wubbzy And The Fire Engine”; delivers Daizy’s doodleberry treats – the Wubbzy way – in “What Would Wubbzy Do?” and helps rebuild a neighbor’s house with a little help from a pro in “Ty Ty The Tool Guy,” featuring the voice of Ty Pennington, host of the popular TV series “Extreme Home Makeover.”

Additional episodes include “Mr. Unlucky,” in which Wubbzy realizes he’s a pretty lucky guy after all; “Wuzzleburg Express,” where Walden uses quick-thinking to save the day from a runaway train; and “Hangin’ With Mr. Gummy,” which reminds preschoolers that fun comes in many different forms!

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! has been a hit with young viewers and their families since its 2006 TV premiere on Nickelodeon®, and the show currently airs daily on Nick Jr.  Wubbzy is a fun, lovable, curious little guy who just likes to play, play, play with his friends in the eye-popping town of Wuzzleburg.  The top-rated series supports preschool social skills – sharing, listening, compromising, helping and appreciating others, self-awareness and the use of humor as a coping skill.

Although their world is more fanciful and imaginative than our own, Wubbzy and his friends deal with the same social and developmental issues faced by preschoolers.  They learn how they fit into a group, how to understand their own feelings and those of others, how to get along with one another and the value of friendship and community.

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!is produced by Bolder Media, Inc. in association with Starz Media’s Film Roman Animation Studio.  It is a worldwide hit that is broadcast in 60+ countries.

My little ones really enjoyed this DVD and I am sure it will be a well requested favorite around here.  It teaches little ones good values and is enjoyable for them to watch. I like the bonus features of coloring and activity sheets, music videos and sneak peeks too.  It is a great springboard into Fire Prevention Week.  There are 6 great Wubbzy episodes on this 70 minute DVD.

I am thrilled to annouce that Anchor Bay Entertainment is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky Mommy Rambling’s  blog reader will win their own copy of this great DVD.  Thank you Anchor Bay Entertainment for the review DVD and for sponsoring this great give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!  Open to US Residents.
