The problem is that sometimes that “little something” can do big things to my waistline. So does that mean I have to deprive myself? Not at all, not since I discovered Almondina Toastees, this baked snack has no added fat, no added salt, no preservatives and is dairy free.

Best part, they are delicious! How delicious? My 8-year-old loves them delicious! Seriously, he tells me I better not eat them all on him!

They come in great flavors like Sesame Almond, Cranberry Orange, Coconut Orange Almond and Lemon Poppy Almond. I just love them and they are the perfect pairing with my tea. They are also great with cheese, crunched up over yogurt or ice cream, with coffee and more. Perfect snack to take along on road trips, keep in your desk at work or send off to school with your child.

Have you ever tried Almondina Cookies?

This all-natural, crispy almond cookie has no cholesterol and no added fat, salt, or preservatives. It is wonderfully crunchy and does not have to be dipped. It is a delightful accompaniment for coffee, tea, soft cheeses and fine light wines. The rush to eliminate fat from gourmet foods too often has also eliminated most of the flavor, a fact which is in sharp contrast to this enticingly delicious cookie.

Since the introduction of the classic Original flavor, eight more distinctive variations have been introduced, all of which continue to be packed with roasted almonds. A recent innovation, Chocolate Cherry, combines the almonds with dark chocolate and plump cherries.

I received a sample pack of these great cookies and I have to tell you they were so delicious.  The sesame reminded me of a favorite Italian sesame cookie I love and that is only available at select bakeries so to find that taste in this cookie I was head over heels.  I also loved the Ginger and well, I really liked them all, they were perfect with coffee or for a quick snack.  If you have not tried them, you should, there are so many great flavors to choose from.
