I was thrilled to receive these blocks for review and immediately my kids found clever ways to use them for climbing, stacking, sitting, jumping and much more.  I found they work great in my studio for props for sitting and posing.  They look great as nursery or kid’s room decor and are sturdy yet soft so that there are no sharp edges to lead to any baby boo boos.  There are so many great minky soft colors and patterns to coordinate with endless color schemes.  If you are looking for an unusual baby gift that will grow with the child, you should take a look at the Gibout Blox.

Nesco, SnackmasterÂŽ Pro Food and Jerky Dehydrator Review & Giveaway!!!

I wish I had this dehydrator when my garden was in full swing this summer because it would have been so helpful to dry herbs, and dehydrate vegetables for use later.  I really can’t wait to try it out on all that this summer.  This dehydrator has 5 drying trays, 2 Clean-A-Screens and 2 Fruit Roll Sheets.  It also includes jerky spices.  This SnackmasterÂŽ Pro Food and Jerky dehydrator is one of the newest in the Nesco line and it is sleek and contemporary with 700 watts of drying power to dry food in just hours.  My husband did the testing by following a jerky recipe and using the included spices it was easy and quick and they loved the jerky.  I will be updating with fruit rolls but wanted to get this up since time is flying.  The unit is easy to clean and very lightweight.  I really can’t wait for spring and summer to try drying flowers as well.

Paint Your Life, Personalized Canvas Art Review and $100 Gift Certificate Giveaway!!!

I chose to do a photo to 24″ by 36″  canvas of my boys walking down the tracks that is absolutely adorable.  It was so easy to order and they checked everything for me and even emailed me for my final approval before printing to make sure things were just right.  I received it very well packed and was blown away when we opened it, the colors are vibrant, the detail, sharpness, and size is very impressive.

I was recently asked to choose something from BeginAgain Toys to review and after browsing the selection I chose the Dinosaur A to Z Puzzle.  I was very impressed when I received it and this is so much more than a puzzle.  The pieces have the upper case letters on one side and the lower case on the other and only fit one way.  Given this a child must be thinking and also can follow along on the picture when fitting the puzzle together.  My three-year old and five-year old had a great time playing with this puzzle and when together it can even be moved a bit in the sturdy wood tray to bend the neck or legs.  This colorful puzzle and smooth chunky pieces is just beautiful and very well crafted.  This heirloom quality puzzle can be passed down for generations.
