I picked up some really cute 2 year old party wear that was a “Toot, Toot, Two!” theme.  So it did not take a rocket scientist to know that he would need a train cake.  I scoured the net looking for a cake that was doable and not too time consuming.  I ended up winging my own and I am happy with the way it turned out.  It is not something on “Ace of Cakes” or anything but my kids think it looks great and that is all the matters in the end.
