I was sent a WOW Mix ‘n’ Fix Mike Friction Powered Cement Truck with Revolving Mixer to review.  This truck requires no batteries and runs on friction.  It is durable and is full of detail.  This truck has developmental benefits and provides sensory stimulation, motor skill development, discovery, learning, social interaction, role play and exploration.  The included man can ride in the truck or be placed on top when he needs to work on the detailed engine.  A removable barrier is also included to block off roads that are being repaired.  The barrier stores on the back of the truck when the work day is over.  The truck travels really far on the friction power and both my boys loved this cement mixer and the realistic mixing sounds it makes.  This truck is made for ages 1.5-5 years old.

Zoobies Blanket Pet Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently connected with Zoobies and I was asked to choose a Blanket Pet to review.  Since Luke is my blanket baby, I picked Lencho The Lion from their safari collection.  Luke is like Linus, and totes his blanket with him everywhere.  He loves plush, soft, cozy blankets and I figured he would just flip over this Zoobie Blanket Pet.   Lencho The Lion is so soft, he is a plush friend, a great pillow and a super soft blanket.  This Blanket Pet is great for traveling because it is compact and a three in one pet.  The child can play with just the plush toy, undo the Velcro fastners and have a great soft pillow of finally unzip the pillow to reveal a large super soft plush blanket.  The blanket can be detached to come completely off the pet if you wish and is machine washable.  When nap time is done, the blanket can be folded and stuffed back in and the pet zippered and you are good to go.

Jahgoo Potty Review!!!

I was recently sent a Jahgoo Potty to review.  Luke is not potty training yet, but will as soon as I feel he is ready.  This sleek modern little potty is great.  It is only 2 pieces, and has a smooth and clean design that is easy to clean and empty.  Its size makes it a great potty to keep in the car for trips where rest areas are far and few between.  The potty is designed to fit both boys and girls and is available in 4 colors  Check out the Jahgoo Website for this and other great baby products.

Vicky Lansky’s Books, 101 Ways To Tell Your Child “I Love You” & Toilet Training (2 books in one) A Practical Guide to Daytime and Nighttime Training Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently was sent 2 of Vicky Lansky’s books to review.  The first one was, 101 Ways To Tell Your Child “I Love You”  This book was newly updated and re-published.  This 124 page book gives you lots of cute ideas to use to tell your child that you love them.  It is so important that our children know we love them.   I really like the ideas in this book such as leaving little notes in unexpected places, hanging red hearts in a doorway, making your child a special, welcome home banner on the first day of school and much more.  This book gives you many ways to say I love you to your child other than just saying the three words.  It is so important for our children’s emotional health to let them know often and in many ways how much we love them.  I really think this is a great little book.

The next book is the revised and updated, Toilet Training, A Practical Guide to Daytime and Nighttime Training.  This book also includes a bonus book, Koko Bear’s New Potty, which is a book for your child.  This book covers how to set the stage for toilet training, recognize readiness, choosing a potty seat, dressing your child for success, dealing with an uncooperative child, handling accidents, how to cope when traveling and much more.  The bonus book, KoKo Bear’s New Potty, is a read-together book that is wonderfully illustrated and includes a great unisex story that will help make toilet training easy and fun.

What a wonderful way to buy beautiful things from skilled artisans all over the world.  This handcrafted angel came with free gift wrap and when I opened it I just loved the colors and the workmanship was beautiful.  This is such a colorful piece and it just makes me happy to see it.  Some beautiful things include Womens Robes, Sarongs and Floral Bracelets.
