Organic Peeled Snacks Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent an assortment of real fruit snacks from Peeled to review.  Peeled Snacks knows that food starts out delicious and nutritious, and it doesn’t need some machine to improve it, or engineering to perfect it. They bring you food that’s as close to its natural state as possible. So make snacking a satisfying part of your lifestyle by eating food as it was meant to be: peeled.  I was very glad to try this gently-dried fruit.  It is so hard to find dried fruit without additives of some kind.  Peeled Snack’s ingredients are simple, just the fruit.  For example, one of my favorite flavors is the much-ado-about-mango and the ingredient is organic mangos, that’s it.  They taste delicious and are bursting with flavor.  The have lots of great flavors and mixed bags and are perfect for good nutritious snacks on the run. As a mom I am always running and so are my kids, these snacks can be kept in your purse or diaper bag and ready when hunger strikes.

Peeled Snacks are now available in Starbucks throughout the US and Canada.  Because we are entering the holiday season where we are even more busy than usual, I am placing Peeled Snacks on our 2011 Holiday Gift Guide under the section; Products to Pamper Yourself and Your Family This Holiday Season.  These healthy and nutritious snacks will keep you energized and properly nourished while you are zipping around being an elf.

The Bedtime Book for Dogs by Bruce Littlefield, Review & Give-Away {Give-Away Ended}

Do you have a dog or dogs that are part of your family? Yesterday, our 2 year old was sitting on the floor in the family room with our 1 year old Westie cuddled in his lap. I sat back for a moment and just relished the moment of watching my son be so loving to our Zoey.  I think pets are a wonderful additions to a family and they teach our children and ourselves so much. Recently, I was sent Bruce Littlefield’s, The Bedtime Book for Dogs, and I have to say, it is an adorable book.  What I really like, is that it is a simple story that is easy for kids to read to their dog thus creating some special time for both of them.  The book is delightfully illustrated by Paul S. Heath.  My toddlers enjoy this book as well as our dogs and I look forward to them being able to read it to our three dogs very soon.  This book celebrates the love of a dog and his friend and gives you a few minute to cuddle with your dog and your kids and share some special time. I am adding this book to our 2011 Holiday Gift Guide.  It is truly a great book for all the dogs and dog lovers on your list.

The Bedtime Book for Dogs by Bruce Littlefield, Review & Give-Away

Switcha Pocket Jeans Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Little girls love to have their own style, to be original and change outfits a lot! Switcha Pocket is an awesome way for girls to be able to do exactly that! Switcha Pocket makes jean pants and skirts for girls, and with their innovative design, allows them to change their back pockets out for different patterns! The pockets are attached to the jeans with Velcro hook and loop tape which makes it fast and easy to switch with different ones! With so many pocket designs to choose from, a girl can wear different pockets on her jeans every day for a week.
My niece received a pair of regular, dark wash jeans, and chose the cupcake pocket design to try out for review. The jeans came with a matching pair of bird and leaf pockets. She loved being able to pick out her own style of pocket to go with the jeans. They fit nicely, they are well made and stylish. I think Switcha Pockets are the next big thing in girls clothing!!

I was sent a Lysol Clean-Flip Sweeper Starter Kit to review.  Clean-Flip: delivering the convenience of quick cleaning and the results of traditional cleaning methods. The innovative “flip” feature reaches into tight spaces and cleans floors and baseboards simultaneously. With a simple, no-touch way to attach the cleaning cloth to the sweeper, the Clean-Flip reduces the drippy mess and hassle associated with other sweepers. This sweeper is really handy to have around for quick clean-ups.  Now that Winter is approaching it is great for mopping up the foyer and hallways when muddy and snowy human and dog feet come in.  Great for cleaning the bathroom tile floor, it manuevers well and you can just throw the dirty pad away.  It is very versatile and can be used with the wet and dry cloths you can buy separately.  Easy to store and so handy for quick clean ups.
