We received this Diamond Edition Cinderella for review. Cinderella has been a treasured part of our movie collection since it was available on VHS, then DVD, Blu-Ray and now the Diamond Edition. I have watched this movie so many times as a child myself, then with my older children and now with my little ones. Who could not like this movie? The mice are one of my favorite parts, chubby Gus Gus just steals my heart. Cinderella finally getting her dream come true after all the suffering at the hands of her step-mother and step-sisters is what fairy tales are all about. It will have you singing the songs all day. So Bibbidi-Bobbity and go get a copy and plan a wonderful nostalgic movie night with your family. Recently I was contacted by Ornaments with Love and asked to do a review for their personalized ornaments. As the mother of five it is sometimes hard to find personalized ornaments for a family of 7. I was surprised to see so many choices for large families that I had a hard time choosing. After a lot of browsing, I finally chose the personalized Fireplace Tabletop Decoration Christmas Ornament with 7 People.
It was shipped right away and arrived a couple of days later and I was blown away. It is absolutely gorgeous and the pictures do not do it justice. It is so detailed and has a sturdy easel back for display. It has a high gloss finish with sparkly, glitter stockings hanging from the festive mantle with everyone’s name. Two topiary Christmas trees flank each side of the fireplace and above the Mantle I had Merry Christmas and the year painted.

Does the air in your refrigerator smell amazing? You probably think I am nuts to ask such a question but it really can. I was asked to review an ionic air purifier for your refrigerator by Oransi. I was very impressed with the unit, it is small but well made and I could notice a difference right away in the quality and freshness of the air. I love that it sterilizes my fridge once an hour, that is really good news to this germophobe. The fact that it reduces food spoilage and prevents mildew is wonderful and the unit can also be used in closets to neutralize stale air or foul odors. I will admit, I do not hand wash my dishes by hand and rely heavily on my dishwasher which is run several times a day to keep up with our big family and busy household. I also have to admit since I am a germophobe hand washing dishes kind of makes me a little queasy but that’s material for another post entirely. However, there are always some things that must be hand washed and cannot be put in the dishwasher. Some photo mugs, hand painted decorative crocks, delicate stemware etc will get ruined in the dishwasher. I was willing to give the Dish Drying Mat from Envision Home a try.
The mat folds in thirds very neatly and can easily be stored almost anywhere. I like it because I can use it when I need it and then conveniently store it away without taking up much space at all. So to test it out I hand washed a heavy covered casserole dish and lid. I put them very wet on the mat and walked away, when I came back all the water on the mat was dry and so was my covered dish. I was surprised at just how fast the water dried. I really like that the mat is so cushioned and so it cradles even delicate items. I appreciate that it is machine washable so it is a snap to care for. The Dish Drying Mat is available in several colors and three sizes, they even have some new print mats too!

Ready For Pumpkins is such an adorable book and so fitting with the season. Reading it for the first time, I just knew I have to share it with my son’s kindergarten class. It is about the class guinea pig named Hercules who watches the first grade class grow plants from seeds and wants to do that too. During summer vacation when the teacher brings him out to the country with her he gets to do that with a new friend and during that summer he learns so much. He learns about patience and sometimes having to wait makes things sweeter, he learns about friendship and how hard it can be to say goodbye to old friends and the joy of meeting a whole class of new friends. All in all he learns that he is a pretty lucky guinea pig.
