I was sent three different teas and a tea ball from Tiesta Tea to sample. I made the tea in my coffee and tea maker that has an infuser. The teas all smell great and so fresh and are very different than any bag tea. The Immunity Kiwi Cherry Bonanza looks more like trail mix than tea but it tastes great iced especially on the hot summer days we are having. The Minty Winter Wonderland is a rooibos tea that is a relaxer and great to help you unwind after a tough day. The Strawberry Exotica is a white tea and quite refreshing cold and great hot as well. They have so many great flavors and kinds it is so hard to choose so you just have to try them all!!!

Putumayo, “American Playground” CD Review and Giveaway!!!

Well, the good old summertime is here and if it means road trips for your family, there is a great CD that can make that time a lot of fun. It’s Tea Time with Davidson’s Organics and Nature’s Bakery!!!

I was recently asked to try some of Davidson’s Organics Tea and Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars. After they arrived I arranged a little afternoon tea break. I was sent the Rooibos Spiced Chai Tea and an assortment of Nature’s Bakery All Natural Fig Bars. Rooibos (“red tea”) is harvested from shrubs grown in the high elevations of the cape regions of South Africa. Rooibos has a full-bodied, rounded character, a slight sweetness, and blends well with green tea, black tea, other herbs and spices. Enjoy this red tea based chai with just the right hint of sweetness and spices. Delicious with milk and sweetener. High in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, Rooibos is well-known for its numerous health benefits and calming effects. And it’s completely caffeine-free! The tea was delicious with just the right amount of spice. The fig bars really surprised me and my guests with how scrumptious they were.
