Just tuck the soaker pad in under the flaps of the waterproof cover, and put it on your baby, you put it on the same way as an All-in-One diaper. Once the pad is soaked, you just flip it out into the diaper pail, without having to touch it! As long as the mess was contained in the pad, you can tuck in another pad and use the cover again without having to wash it!
The inserts are so cuddly soft, and I can imagine it must be a whole lot more comfortable than a disposable diaper! If your baby has to wear something down there, it may as well be soft and comfy! The fit is great on my 9 month old, no gaps around the legs, and the easy adjustable hook and loop closure tape makes the fit around the waist perfect! We have had no problems with leaks since we have been using it, this Monkey Doodlez diaper is very well made. I do believe this diaper is a keeper for us, I love the way it works!
