TheShelvingStore.com, Ball Claw Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I am back to talk about balls again!!!  The Shelving Store has a great way to store your balls.  Okay, let’s keep in mind I am talking about sports balls, or I will have mothers everywhere trying to ban my blog.  Anyway, they make these great Ball Claws that hold Basketballs, Footballs, Soccer Balls, and more.  They are easy to mount right on the wall.  We put two in our garage.  One on the little kid’s level and one up high for the big kids.  You could also use these in a bedroom to showcase a special championship ball or your son’s favorite team.  Also, they would be great in the basement, playroom, mancave, mudroom or large closet.  It is super easy for even the youngest kids to get the balls in and out and makes putting them away fun.

ClothDiaper.com,OsoCozy All-in-One Cloth Diaper Review and Give-away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recived an OsoCozy All-in-One cloth diaper a short time ago from Clothdiaper.comfor review. This diaper has quality, durable fabric that should last through at least a couple of babies! The 100% cotton birdseye fabric in the inside that goes against baby’s skin is comfortable and doesn’t stain easily, I myself haven’t seen a stain on it after using it for a couple weeks.

This OsoCozy diaper fit great on both my 8 month old and my 2 year old, thanks to the easily adjustable Aplix brand hook and loop closures! It comes in 5 cute colors, pink, white, light green, aqua and deep purple. It is an all in one, with waterproof outer fabric, and built in absorbent core, so it makes diaper changes quick and easy: just put it on, and you are done, no extra covers to use and no soakers to insert! You can use an extra soaker for more absorbency, but for daytime use it works great without!

After prepping the diaper by washing it a few times, I put it to the ultimate test, and used it on my baby at bedtime. I added an extra soaker because, well, almost no diaper is good enough by itself for nighttime use. Baby woke up in the morning with dry jammies! Some diapers wick moisture out onto baby’s clothes through the night, but this OsoCozy worked splendidly!

Featuring the first 10 episodes from the show’s premiere season, CatDog: Season 1 – Part 1 follows the adventures of the feline-canine brothers Cat and Dog, conjoinedtwins, who adore and irritate each other like fleas. Long anticipated by fans, CatDog: Season One – Part One has not been available in stores until now. A must have for fans of Nickelodeon, cartoon  fanatics and DVD collectors,  the two-disc DVD set has a suggested retail price of $19.93.

Like all of Nickelodeon’s classic shows, CatDog: Season One – Part One  features an all-star voice cast, which includes Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants, Rocko’s Modern Life), Jim Cummings (The Super Hero Squad Show, Reno 911) and Carlos Alazraqui (The Fairly OddParents, Rocko’s Modern Life).

A fan favorite, CatDog: Season One – Part One, is a tale of opposites attached starring CatDog, the most unlikely brother duo ever seen. The conjoined brothers love each other yet they are so different, they can’t help but annoy themselves silly with their contrarian activities. Prim and proper, Cat is the very definition of culture, while Dog is the ultimate tail-wagging, sofa-jumping, car-chasing roughneck. But despite their very different personalities, CatDog are the best of friends, sticking to one another — literally — through thick and thin, even when it comes to facing off against their devious neighbor Winslow and the rough ’n’ tough gang of Greaser Dogs!

Created by Peter Hannan, CatDog premiered on Nickelodeon in 1998 and ran for four seasons until 2001. Reruns aired on Nicktoons from 2002 to 2011.

I can remember how much my older kids liked to watch CatDog and I enjoyed watching it with them.  I was recently sent the first first 10 episodes of the first season to review and it is so funny.  It brings back lots of great memories of watching it with my older kids.  The theme song and so much of it comes back to me in a flash.  The running time on this DVD is about 300 minutes and it is rated TV-Y.  If you are looking for some rainy day entertainment, this DVD will have your kids laughing and I bet you will be too!!!

Faber-Castell, Creativity For Kids, Monster Truck Custom Shop Kit Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently asked to choose a Creativity for Kids kit to review from Faber-Castell.  They have a great selection, but with a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old, who are crazy for monster trucks, I chose the Monster Trucks Custom Shop.  This kit comes with 4 different monster trucks and includes stickers and paint to customize them.  When my kiddies saw the box, we could not open it fast enough and they did not want to wait for paint to dry, so we skipped that and used the neat stickers.  I think the paint would be great for older kids to use and they would understand about letting it dry.  The stickers are a great option for toddlers and pre-schoolers and are easy for them to apply with Mom and Dad.  With that done you are ready to pull them back and let them go.  Watch them speed off, race, roll and flip.  My little ones liked recreating scenes they saw at the Monster Truck show they saw at the county fair this summer.  This is a great gift idea for any little boys on your list this holiday season.  In fact, there is a Creativity for Kids Kit to delight just about every child on your gift list this year.  Give them a gift that lets the show off their creative side.

Asher’s, Assorted Chocolate Smothered Pretzels Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently received a box of assorted chocolate smothered pretzels from Asher’s to review.  I really like chocolate covered pretzels, something about the sweet and salty taste that is so delicious.  My teenage son got into these before I even did the review.  He thought they were pretty good and thankfully left some for us to try.  The pretzels are covered in thick dark or milk chocolate and are absolutely delicious.  I would like to do another taste test but they are all gone, they were that good.  Asher’s is a generations old family business and you will find that their many delicious confections would make great gifts this holiday season.  Who doesn’t like chocolate?

A Scottish farm boy hailing from Ontario, Canada, Chester A. Asher had a mind for business and a passion for confections. He worked for a candy factory in Boston briefly, before he decided to break out on his own as a confectioner. In 1892, he founded the Asher’s candy making business in Center City Philadelphia.
