Moonlight Slumber, Starlight Support Supreme Crib/Toddler Bed Mattress Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

The first thing my husband and I noticed with this mattress, is the weight.  It is so much lighter than the innerspring mattress Luke had. Power Capes Side-Kick Super Hero Cape Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently asked to design a side-kick hero cape by Power Capes to review.  I chose to make one for my 4 year old, Ethan.  His favorite color is green so I knew that was to be the color of the cape, next I chose a star design for the back in a purple sparkle fabric. Then, I picked a yellow letter E to go over the star and waited for it to arrive.  The ordering process was so easy and I could see how it looked and change it until I finalized the order.  The cape came so quickly and it is so well made.  Ethan just loves it and I am going to have to get one for Luke now.  It has a great velcro closure for the neck and is very nicely finished on the edges.  We love this cape!!!  They also make capes in other sizes and complete super hero costumes.

STEP2 Prepare and Share Kitchen Set Review!!!

I was sent a new STEP2 Prepare and Share Kitchen to review.  STEP2 just introduced this kitchen to their line of great kid’s products.  The kitchen was delivered in a large box and when we opened it, it was all neatly packed and included lots of food, dishes and accessories.  It was very easy to put together and took very little time.  One of the favorite features is the stove burner that when fitted with the skillet sizzles, pot boils, coffee pot boils as well.  It also causes lights to illuminate in the cooking vessels.  It requires 2 AA batteries for the electronic sounds but it was a huge hit and one of the features the boys liked best.  It is designed in neutral colors for boys or girls.

It is a very sturdy unit that will hold up to lots of play and is very easy to wipe down.  I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of accessories this kitchen includes.  It includes 5 large spice/herb bottles, salt and pepper shakers, grinding pepper mill, phone, pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils and a variety of food, fruits and veggies.  Three removable baskets are handy for storage and play prep and cooking.  The large, deep sink has a swivel faucet.  Stainless steel look oven and refrigerator, hanging hooks, pass through window and ledge for serving, storing and prep add realistic touches to this kitchen set.  The clip for the phone holds it securely in place and is easy for the kids to retrieve the phone and return it when finished with the call.  Kitchen is large enough that the two can play together and still have enough space to play and cook.

This kitchen set is available at Toys R Us for $89.99 and I think it is a great value considering all you get with it.  I recommend this kitchen very much.  If I have any critisism I would say that it would be great if two of the burners had the sounds just because you could have two things cooking/boiling, sizzling at once.  However, that would not deter me from buying this kitchen.  There is plenty to do and kids will have a great time cooking up some gourmet meals.

Funrise Gazillion Bubble Rocket Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was recently sent a Funrise Gazillion Air Powered Bubble Rocket to review.  My kids love bubbles, as most kids do.  They were thrilled to see this bubble toy.  Daddy got it set up and launched the first rocket which went high and scattered bubbles everywhere.  Ethan and Luke quickly grasped how to work the air powered rocket, but Luke at 2 years old, does not have the strength to launch the rocket.  Ethan at 4, was able to, especially when he jumped on the launch pad.  The rocket did not go that high when he launched it as when Daddy did, but he still loved that he was able to do it.  Even when the bubbles were empty the kids still enjoyed using it as a rocket.  This is a great toy to play with on a nice day and the kids get to be active and have lots of fun.  The rocket can also be dipped in the bubble solution and waved in the air to make bubbles which is great for smaller kids.

Grimm’s Spiel und Holz Design Rainbow Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently received a Grimm’s Spiel und Holz Design Rainbow to review.  This colorful alder wood rainbow tunnel represents the element of air.  Made in Germany and dyed with non-toxic colors, this rainbow can be stacked, used as a bridge, tunnel, fence or cave for toy cars, figures, animals and more.  This toy is the winner of the prestigious Spiel Gut Award.  My boys just love this rainbow.  At first they were interested in stacking it according to size.  They soon found they could make tunnels and bridges for their toy vehicles.  My 2 year old who is very into his colors right now, loved naming each color in the rainbow.  My 4 year old took this toy to bed with him and I think that speaks volumes of how fond he was of it.   As a mom I love that it is colored with non-toxic, water-based dyes.  I also love that it is a toy that can teach so many concepts and that children of different ages can all take away different lessons from this rainbow.  I really like when I find stimulating, safe and educational toys for my kids and this rainbow definitely is one that I recommend.
