Out of the Box Publishing, 10 Days in the USA Game Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Recently, I was asked by Out of the Box Publishing to pick out a game to review.  I chose 10 Days in the USA.  In this game, you have 10 Days in the USA – Travel the country by jet, car, and on foot. Plan your trip from start to finish using destination and transportation tiles. With a little luck and clever planning, you just might outwit your fellow travelers.  The first traveler to make connections for their 10 day journey wins the game.  This game is for ages 10 to adult and for 2 to 4 players.  Each game takes about 20-30 minutes to play.  Game includes  a game board map of the USA, fifty destination tiles representing the states, sixteen transportation tiles and four 10-day card holders.  This game has the National Parenting Seal of Approval, Parents Choice Gold Award, Major Fun Award, Doctor Toy- Smart Play Smart Toy,and the Mensa Select Award.  This is a fun, educational game that can be used in the classroom as well as a great family game.

Diggin Products, Skuut Wooden Balance Bike Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I received a Skuut Wooden Balance Bike by Diggin Products to review. The Skuut™ is a wooden balance bike for children ages 2 to 5. It has no pedals and no training wheels. Children kick off the ground as if running, thus pushing or “skuuting” themselves and the bike forward. The Skuut™ is perfect for learning balance, steering, coordination and independence. My peanut 2 year old was so excited to try it out.  My husband had it assembled very easily within minutes of taking it out of the box.  We put the seat on its lowest position and then let Luke try it out.  He was ecstatic to have a 2 wheel bicycle and he felt so accomplished riding it around and got braver and braver as he took some little glides the first time riding on the road.  He is a little guy but with the seat at the lowest level it was great for him and he could be like his big brother.  He was able to go down and up small hills and turn the bike around with ease. Luke was so proud of himself and it showed in his face.   My husband and I looked at each other and said it will be a few days and he will be running and gliding on this bike.

Zoobies Blanket Pet Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently connected with Zoobies and I was asked to choose a Blanket Pet to review.  Since Luke is my blanket baby, I picked Lencho The Lion from their safari collection.  Luke is like Linus, and totes his blanket with him everywhere.  He loves plush, soft, cozy blankets and I figured he would just flip over this Zoobie Blanket Pet.   Lencho The Lion is so soft, he is a plush friend, a great pillow and a super soft blanket.  This Blanket Pet is great for traveling because it is compact and a three in one pet.  The child can play with just the plush toy, undo the Velcro fastners and have a great soft pillow of finally unzip the pillow to reveal a large super soft plush blanket.  The blanket can be detached to come completely off the pet if you wish and is machine washable.  When nap time is done, the blanket can be folded and stuffed back in and the pet zippered and you are good to go.

Jahgoo Potty Review!!!

I was recently sent a Jahgoo Potty to review.  Luke is not potty training yet, but will as soon as I feel he is ready.  This sleek modern little potty is great.  It is only 2 pieces, and has a smooth and clean design that is easy to clean and empty.  Its size makes it a great potty to keep in the car for trips where rest areas are far and few between.  The potty is designed to fit both boys and girls and is available in 4 colors  Check out the Jahgoo Website for this and other great baby products.

Vicky Lansky’s Books, 101 Ways To Tell Your Child “I Love You” & Toilet Training (2 books in one) A Practical Guide to Daytime and Nighttime Training Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently was sent 2 of Vicky Lansky’s books to review.  The first one was, 101 Ways To Tell Your Child “I Love You”  This book was newly updated and re-published.  This 124 page book gives you lots of cute ideas to use to tell your child that you love them.  It is so important that our children know we love them.   I really like the ideas in this book such as leaving little notes in unexpected places, hanging red hearts in a doorway, making your child a special, welcome home banner on the first day of school and much more.  This book gives you many ways to say I love you to your child other than just saying the three words.  It is so important for our children’s emotional health to let them know often and in many ways how much we love them.  I really think this is a great little book.
