ERGObaby Carrier Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

ergobaby-baby-carrier

I recently connected with ERGObaby, and they asked me to pick a carrier to review.  I chose the Organic River Rock Green Baby Carrier.  When I received it, I could not wait to try it out.  The softness of the fabric was the first thing I noticed taking it out of the box, it felt so comfortable and cozy.  It was very easy to get on and I tried the back, hip and front carry options.  My husband and I both tried it and our youngest is about 24 lbs and was very comfortable to carry, our4 year old who is about 10 lbs heavier also fit well and was not a strain to carry.  They both loved it and we will definitely be using it a lot with an upcoming vacation and the summer activities that are planned.  The straps are fully adjustable and ultra padded for supreme comfort.  The carrier requires an infant insert for babies less than 4 months but has a weight capacity of 45 lbs so this is something you can use for a long time.

Organic Baby Carrier Features
  • ERGOnomic design
  • 100% organic cotton twill with 100% organic cotton sateen lining and hood
  • 100% cotton organic batting in body of carrier to soften edges
  • One inch, high density foam in shoulder straps
  • Quarter inch high density EVA foam in waist belt
  • High quality buckles – extensively tested
  • Waist belt circumference from 25″ to 43″
  • Fits from 5′ to 6’6″ body height with adjustable shoulder and chest straps
  • Sleeping hood with elastic, adjusts in length for growth of baby
  • High quality webbing, matched to carrier color
  • Reinforced stitching used at all fabric intersections
  • Interior interfacing reinforcements at critical intersections
  • Durability/strength tested up to 90 pounds
  • Machine washable – cold, gentle cycles, mild detergent, no bleach. Dry in low heat

Chevron Pink and Grey-Original-Baby Carrier-Ergobaby

Using the ERGObaby carrier gives you continuous connection, fabulous feeling of freedom, and security knowing your baby is safe.

This is the all-in-one soft baby carrier, assisting you through all the stages of your baby’s growth and moving from front to hip to back position easily.

Parents say the ERGObaby carrier is the best of all the baby carriers on the market. It was designed by Karin Frost and has undergone extensive testing by tens of thousands of parents. Its innovative design makes wearing your baby comfortable for hours at a time, gives you the freedom to remain active and productive in your daily life, and holds your baby secure to your body so you are hands-free.

ERGObaby’s baby carrier design supports a natural sitting position for babies, eliminating compression of the spine and hips that can be caused by unsupported suspension. The baby carrier also balances the baby’s weight to parents’ hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical stress for the parent.

Now I have some great news!!!  ERGObaby is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will get to specify a favorite ERGObaby Carrier from any of their models except the Petunia Pickle Bottom carriers – Standard, Organic, Performance, Sport, or Options – and they will do their best to accommodate their first choice.  Thank you ERGObaby for the review carrier and for sponsoring this awesome give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!

Childrensneeds.com, Sandbox Backhoe/Digger Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

My two littlest boys love trucks, love watching excavators and can name just about every working truck there is.  They love to play with their toy excavators so when we were sent these Sandbox Diggers from Childrensneeds.com, they were thrilled.  Assembly was a breeze and only required the base to be connected to the main arm and the seat to be attached.  In no time at all they were ready to dig.  We emptied a bale of peat moss and topped that off with 4 bags of pea gravel to make it fun.  Needless to say they had a blast.  I really like that these backhoe diggers help to develop the child’s manipulative skills and build dexterity.  Navigating the ride on  and working the digger backhoe really improves childrens’ hand-eye coordination.

  • Sturdy metal construction. Strong enough for an adult to sit on and use but sized for ages 3-10.
  • attaches securely to 360 degree swivel base,
  • large washers to keep fingers out of the pinch points
So do you know someone who would just love this Sandbox Digger?  If so you will be happy to know that Childrensneeds.com is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win their very own Sandbox Backhoe/Digger.  Thank you Childrensneeds.com for the review diggers and for sponsoring this awesome give-away!!!

Xyron Create-a-Sticker Max, 1.5″ Create-a-Sticker, and Mega Runner Review & Giveaway!!! {Giveaway Ended}

I was recently sent three great products from Xyron to review.  The first is the Xyron Create-a-Sticker Max.  This large sticker maker does not require electricity, batteries or heat.  Easily create stickers with the Xyron Create-a-Sticker Max.  Safe for kids to use since there is no heat involved and it is so easy and fun. You can make permanent and repositional stickers by using the correct cartridge.  Take a look at what I made:

Xyron Create a Sticker Max

I chose this card stock cut out to make into a sticker.

Place the item in the Xyron Create a Sticker Max.

Start feeding the item through while you turn the dial handle.

As you turn the dial your item will come out the back of the Create a Sticker Max as a sticker.

The trimmer in the back will trim the paper when you pull up and then you are all set.

Now, if you want to make smaller stickers, the 1.5″ Xyron Create a Sticker is what you need.  I was sent this special edition Breast Cancer Research Foundation edition.  It is very easy to operate and also does not require batteries, heat or electricity.  Take a look at how it works:

1.5″ Special Edition Create a Sticker

I chose this cardstock basketball to make into a sticker.

Place the object in the create-a-sticker unit.

Pull and tear.

Rub and then peel the top layer off.

Your sticker is now ready!!!

The third review item is the Xyron Mega Runner.  This nifty gadget will lay down an adhesive as you pull it back and is great for crafts, scrapbooking and many other projects.  It is super easy to use.  I used it to attach some ribbon to a foam sheet.  Take a look:

Xyron Mega Runner

Touch the tip to the surface and pull.

Then I applied the length of ribbon and pressed to secure.

Ribbon is strongly adhered to the foam.

 These three products are so easy to use and will make scrapbooking and crafting a breeze.

So do you like these products?  Then you will be thrilled to know that Xyron is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Rambligns.  Three lucky blog readers will win their very own Xyron Create a Sticker Max.  Thank you Xyron for the review products and for sponsoring this awesome giveaway on Mommy Ramblings!!!

Evriholder Products, LLC Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Recently I received 3 handy products from Evriholder to review.  These handy products help to make everyday tasks easier and more efficient.

Coffee Clip

This unique clip folds over the end of any standard size coffee bag and then snaps in place to create a tight seal. It also has a built-in scoop on the end that’s always handy for measuring the correct amount of coffee for your drip coffee maker. For a strong brew, add one scoop per cup & for a strong, bold brew, add one and a half scoops per cup.  We have a Keurig Coffeemaker but we use a reusable K-Cup as well as the pre-made K-Cups.  This handy spoon is great for filling the cup and you always know where it is.  Love this Coffee Clip.

Dyno Bowl

This combination bowl, lid, and spoon set attaches firmly to the table via a suction cup on the bottom of the bowl preventing accidental spills. Works great on high-chair trays too and the handy lid makes it easy to store left-overs.

Berry Sack

Help save the planet with these reusable eco friendly grocery bags. But, they’re also durable and super strong so you can use them over and over again.  These bags are great, they are so compact and will fit anywhere until you need them.  I can throw them in my diaper bag and they take up no room.  The Berry Sack is great to have and useful for so many things.

Women’s Scala Ribbon Sun Hat – The Stephanie-Review!!!

I was recently sent the Women’s Scala Ribbon Sun Hat-The Stephanie-in Fuchsia to review.  This hat is from the Scala Collezione collection of women’s hats.  Sun hats are very important to me.  I like to keep my head covered in bright sun and this hat is perfect.  It has a super 4 inch brim that really protects your face and neck.  It is very pretty with self band and bow and ric-rac ribbon throughout.  The best part is it has face-saving sun-protection value of UPF 50+.  Don’t let the prettiness fool you, this is one tough hat that can be crushed when packing and still come out looking great.  Hat is made from a 70/30% cotton/poly blend.  This is an excellent hat to carry with you anywhere, so you will have protection plus beauty whenever you need it.  Available in four great colors.

VIATEK RENU-IT Pro Series Disposable Battery Regenerator Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

We were asked to review a VIATEK RENU-IT Pro Series Professional Grade Disposable Battery Regenerator recently.  This nifty device is said to restore power to disposable batteries up to 70 times.  It can regenerate AA, AAA, C, D & 9V batteries.

Viatek RE02G Renu-It Pro Series GrayProfessional Grad Disposable Battery Regenerator/Used for AA, AAA, C, D & 9-Volt Batteries

  • Professional grade disposable battery regenerator
  • With moisturizing strip and 2 speed controls
  • 4 charging docks for charging AA, AAA, D, C and 9-V
  • Can be used for Ni-Cd, Ni-MH and Alkaline batteries
  • The renewing process does not add anything to the batteries; it simply releases the potential that is already there by perfecting the internal structure of the cell
  • 4 charging docks for charging AA, AAA, D, C and 9-V
  • Digital display, tells when batteries are OK or need to be charged
  • Renew’s all kinds of batteries
  • Renu-It Deluxe will allow indivduals to save the enviornment and money at the same time!
Renu-It is a professional grade disposable battery regenerator. It can regererate NI-MH, Ni-Cd and Alkaline batteries from 2.5 hours to 7 hours depending on size of battery. This is how it works, the chemical reactions within the battery cause electrons to be stripped away from the carbon electrode so electrons will try to flow from a battery’s negative terminal to its positive one, if allowed. As a battery is used this cell gets “disorganized” as electrons get jumbled trying to make their way to the positive terminal. The Renu-It Pro “reorganizes” the internal structure of the battery cell allowing it to be reused up to 70 times.
I have to admit my husband was a skeptic when I showed it to him.  I convinced him we had nothing to lose so when the kids would have dead batteries in their toys we put them in the RENU-IT.  Well, it worked even re-using the batteries for toys that need a lot of power like their guitar amps.  My husband said it was easy to use and told you if a battery was not able to be re-used.  So we now use this device and feel a bit better about using batteries longer before they end up in some landfill.  Every little bit helps and it sure saves money if you can use disposable batteries again.
So would you like to try this VIATEK RENU-IT Pro Series Disposable Battery Regenerator?  Then you will be thrilled to know that VIATEK is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One lucky blog reader will win their very own VIATEK RENU-IT Pro Series Disposable Battery Regenerator.  Thank you VIATEK for the review product and for sponsoring this awesome give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!!

Cloud B Twilight Sea Turtle Night Light Review!!!

We are no strangers to Cloud B.  Luke sleeps every night with his Cloud B Gentle Giraffe and Ethan loves his Twilight Turtle, so when we were asked to do a review of the new Twilight Series we were all in.   We received a Cloud B Twilight Sea Turtle and we took him out and turned him on.  This great night light illuminates 5 endangered animals (the Blue Whale, California Sea Otter, Knysna Seahorse, Leatherback Turtle and Vaquita Dolphin) on his shell through a push button selection, projects stars on the ceiling, glows in 3 different colors and includes a storybook and star guide.  What a peaceful glow to fall asleep to.  We love this adorable night light that is educational and helps children recognize and identify star constellations and learn about the endangered animals.  Runs on 3 AAA batteries that are included and has a 45 minute sleep timer.

Synonyms Board Game Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Some of my greatest memories are playing board games with family and friends.  In today’s fast paced world, it is getting rarer and rarer for families to sit and play games together.  I received the Synonyms Board Game from Lindergaff, LLC Publishing to review.  This game is for ages 10 and up and can be played by 2-8 players or teams for a great party game.   Set up this game and get ready for brainpower-building fun with this exciting new board game that improves reading and verbal skills.  This game was designed by parents as a fun way to educate their kids. This game will keep you on your toes and get those verbal skills sharp.  Players race their pawns around the board to be the first to collect all the letters of the word SYNONYMS. A roll of the die and a card is selected. The player has one minute to earn a letter by naming the designated number of synonyms- unless a competitor declares a challenge! Minds race at maximum brainpower as each tries to top the other. Pass and Challenge cards add strategy and equalize the odds for all players.  SYNONYMS comes with 400+ color-coded cards with over 10,000 empowering vocabulary words and difficulty can be varied according to the skill level of the players.

I highly recommend this game, it was more challenging than I thought to think up the synonyms in the time allotted and really gets your mind working.  I think this is an excellent family or party game.  It is fast paced fun that is also educational and can be quite addicting.

Do you think this game looks like something your family would enjoy?  Then you will be happy to know that Lindergaff LLC Publishing is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.   One lucky blog reader will win their own Synonyms Board Game.  Thank you Lindergaff LLC Publishing for the review game and for sponsoring this awesome (or should I say-wonderful, awe-inspiring, breathtaking, magnificent-well I will stop there-told you it was addicting) give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  Open to US Residents only.
