Affordable Scarves Review & $20 Gift Certificate Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

My daughter, who is a big scarf fan to accessorize, is forever telling me to get some scarves to add a little pizzaz to some of my outfits.  When I was offered to do a review for Affordable Scarves, it was perfect.  They have such a great selection, winter scarves, skinny scarves, pashminas, and so much more.  I choose the Makayla Striped Pashmina in purple.  This great pashmina comes in 4 great colors and I really loved the look and how vibrant it was.  When I received it, it was even more impressive than the pics.  It is quality made and feels so soft.  It will really add a bit of style to even a simple black mock turtleneck.  There are a number of ways to wear this pashmina, and it is a very versatile accessory.  The prices are so affordable on this site, that frankly, I was worried the quality would not be great, but I was pleasantly surprised. You can view the Affordable Scarves BlogHere for some great ideas. A new site they just launched is Scarves.net which has lots of great info, such as different ways to tie the scarves.  If you are looking for some great scarves you should definitely check out Affordable Scarves.

I have great news!!!  Affordable Scarves is sponsoring a give-away on Mommy Ramblings.  One luck blog reader will win a $20 Gift Certificate to Affordable Scarves.  Thank you Affordable Scarves for the review pashmina and for sponsoring such a stylish give-away on Mommy Ramblings!!! Open to US residents.

FRAAS Shawl Scarf Wrap Review!!!

I was recently sent a FRAAS wrap to review.  The FRAAS wrap does double duty, it is a contemporary wrap and an equally perfect soft scarf for draping.  This combination shawl/scarf is the  perfect Fall  accessory.  You can easily throw this on, and not only are you warm and toasty on a brisk Fall day, you dress up whatever you are wearing.  In the Fall in NY it can quickly turn cool especially at night.  I love that I can just throw this on and keep warm at my son’s evening soccer practice.  It is super warm when worn as the shawl and looks very trendy.  Wraps and scarfs are such an easy way to add a finishing touch to an outfit.  I really like how you can get two totally different looks from the same shawl/scarf. It is available in black, blue grape, dark red, peacock and magenta.  The non-itch super soft acrylic is both comfortable and easy to care for.  At just $66, it is a must have piece that works as an option to a sweater or simply drapped as a scarf to be worn most of the year, day or night.  You can purchase this wrap at specialty stores, by phone at 212-575-0191 or at fraas.com.
