“The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature” Available Now! #NutJob2

My kids loved the The Nut Job movie so, when The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature arrived on our doorstep a few weeks ago, they could not watch it fast enough. We set it up in our Epson projector and they were glued to the screen from beginning to end. When I asked them about it, my one son said that the part where (spoiler alert) Surly thought Buddy was dead was really sad. He was really happy when he turned out to be just unconscious. Overall they really enjoyed the movie and it is one they love to watch.

Surly and his friends are back in the action-packed animated adventure, The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature, available on Digital, Blu-rayTM, DVD, and On Demand NOW from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Filled with heart and animal hijinks, this family-friendly comedy introduces new fan-favorite characters including Mr. Feng (Jackie Chan, Kung Fu Panda), the adorable but deadly city mouse, and Frankie, the love-struck bulldog (Bobby Canavale, Ant-Man).

The film also features an incredible voice cast including Will Arnett (Lego Batman), Katherine Heigl (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids), Bobby Moynihan (“Saturday Night Live”), Isabela Moner (Transformers: The Last Knight), Jeff Dunham (Smurfs: The Lost Village) and Gabriel Iglesias (The Fluffy Movie). The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature comes packed with exciting bonus content including deleted scenes, special animation and art reels as well as a feature commentary with the filmmakers, giving viewers a peek inside the making of the film and how the characters were brought to life.

Surly Squirrel (Arnett) and the gang are back, returning to Liberty Park after they are forced to leave their easy life at the nut store. Getting back to nature is the last thing Surly wants to do, but when a greedy mayor decides to destroy the park to build an amusement park, Surly and his ragtag critter friends must band together to save the place they call home.

BLU-RAYTM, DVD AND DIGITAL BONUS FEATURES:

  • Deleted Scene
  • Animation Progression Reels: Watch as two key scenes are brought to life, from storyboard and pre-visualization, to final animation, lighting and effects.

Today (November 14, 2017) is the day that Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, debuts on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and On Demand.  The all new film is from Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production entity of Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

This new film features an original song written just for the release and also includes 3 of Mariah’s Christmas Classics! I am so excited to watch this with my kids this weekend. We are definitely getting into the Christmas spirit here. Thanksgiving weekend we may even put up one of our trees! What a great movie to kick off the season. I just love all kinds of Christmas movies.

Check out the movie trailer HERE!

Mariah originally released the single, All I Want for Christmas is You in 1994, and it has sold more than 14 million copies! In 2016, more than two decades later, it was the year’s most streamed holiday single and dominated at #1 on Billboard’s Holiday 100 for four consecutive weeks. Synopsis:

When Little Mariah (Yde) sees a darling little puppy named “Princess” at the pet store, she suddenly knows exactly what she wants for Christmas. Before her Christmas wish can come true, she must prove that she can dog-sit her uncle’s dog, Jack, a scraggly rascal; in fact, the worst dog in the county! Jack turns Mariah and her family’s perfect holiday preparations upside down in hilarious ways.

It wasn’t exactly the Christmas she wished for…it was more than she ever wanted. Based on the iconic Christmas song and popular illustrated book of the same name, Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You featuring Mariah’s music and narration will be a family favorite for years to come.

Showcasing stunning visuals in beautifully realized CGI animation, the film showcases the all-new original song Lil Snowman performed by Mariah Carey along with songs from Mariah Carey’s immense discography and features the iconic song All I Want for Christmas is You, along with two more of the pop queen’s holiday classics Miss You Most (At Christmas Time) and Christmas Time Is In The Air.

Enter To Win Tickets to “See Same Kind of Different As Me”

I have some exciting news to share about a new movie that will be in theaters nationwide on October 20th. It is called, Same Kind of Different as Me, from Paramount/PUREFLIX Studios. The cast includes Greg Kinnear, Renée Zellweger, Djimon Hounsou and Jon Voight.
With more money than they could ever possibly need, Ron and Debbie Hall have everything they could ever want … except for a loving marriage. When Ron’s unfaithfulness is brought to light, Debbie invites him to stay—as long as he remains truthful and does what she asks of him. But when her request includes serving the homeless at an inner-city rescue mission, Ron would prefer to write a large check instead.  Guided by her faith and spurred on by the dream of a homeless man she senses will change their city, Debbie befriends a disenfranchised man named Denver. More surprisingly, so does Ron. Despite vast differences, their lives begin to intersect and they all are changed … forever.
“Nobody can help everybody, but everybody can help somebody.” Words of wisdom from a homeless drifter; words that never would be shared with the world if not for a wayward husband, a forgiving wife, and an unforgettable true story that brought the three of them together.
