Let Me Shed Some Light On Your Holiday Gift List

Curb Appeal Previews!!! Updating Exterior Lights & Painting Vinyl Shutters!!!

We have been very busy power washing, painting, staining, cleaning, and updating. We are going to give you a sneak peek of a couple of the first Curb Appeal feature posts. First we are going to show you how easy it is to give your outdoor lighting fixtures a whole new look. I have 10 brass lights on my house so believe me I get to really explore this to bring you great tips that will get you stunning results. This update cost us a little under $3 a light so for $30 it really packs the bang for your buck! I cannot wait to bring you all the details and of course the great reveal of all the new hammered bronze lights.

Next we really wanted to give our poor tired blue vinyl shutters a big lift. I will tell you all about how we picked the paint and the color and lots of painting tips to make sure you get excellent results. I have so many shutters on my house I am just about halfway through or at least that is what I am telling myself.

Green Farm Toys, John Deere Roar and Rumble Tractor Review & Giveaway!!!

My little guys like tractors and they love John Deere Tractors. In our home you will find trucks, cars and tractors of every size and shape, you will also see many of the familiar green and yellow tractors that are none other than John Deere. Still like the old saying, my boys feel, there is always room for one more. Now add some rumble and roar to a toy tractor and you have a happy boy. The John Deere Roar and Rumble Tractor packs a little extra punch and has a simulated exhaust that creates “smoke” from tap water. This smoking exhaust feature is beyond big in our house. The tractor comes with a little plastic beaker that fits little hands perfectly and has a little spout that makes pouring easy and accurate. Dinosoles 3D Sculpted Footwear Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently connected with Dinosoles Footwear. Chris generously sent me 2 pair of 3D Sculpted Footwear in the T-Rex LT Black style for my boys. From the moment I took these out of the boxes, my boys were in awe. We could not get them on their feet fast enough, and once on, they did not want to take them off. Luke did not take them off until it was time to actually get in his crib, and he had to have them right next to him and put them on immediately upon waking up in the morning. He would have slept in them if we let him. Ethan proudly wore them to his first day of pre-school and they made quite a hit. There are so many features of these shoes that kids just love. The sculpted 3D dinosaur, the lights, the Velcro straps for easy on and off, add that to the fact they feel great and provide wonderful support and you have the recipe for footwear that kids love. These shoes are so detailed even down to the soles, where they are decorated with the styling of a dino foot. Everything about these shoes is fun and we are hooked. I am glad they have sizes up to 2 because I know my boys will be sad when their feet grow and we will be purchasing bigger sizes.
