Zoomer The Playful Pup – Interactive Dog- Giveaway

https://amzn.to/2DmQDWC

Interactive, robotic toys are always a huge hit that are bound to make the hottest toy lists for the holiday season. Zoomer Playful Pup is no exception, not only is Zoomer on the Holiday Toy List at stores like Amazon, Zoomer is also on Mommy Ramblings’ Holiday Gift Guide!

Zoomer is an adorable, interactive, robotic dog who responds to your touch and voice. The next generation of Zoomer interactive pets, this puppy behaves more dog like than any other Zoomer with realistic sounds and actions. Thanks to Zoomer’s multiple touch sensors, when you rub or tickle his belly, Zoomer will beg for more! Pet Zoomer’s head and hear cute barking sounds, nuzzle Zoomer’s nose for licking noises and so much more!

Check out my unboxing and demo video here:

Zoomer has a floppy tongue and soft furry tail. Zoomer is full of energy and as you can see in my video above, I would not classify Zoomer as a quiet toy. Zoomer will delight kids with playful yips, yaps and yelps and will keep going until he needs to be charged. Zoomer has a rechargeable battery that you charge via a mini-USB to USB charger which comes with Zoomer.

A back button will let you change modes and a microphone on your doggie’s back will let you give Zoomer voice commands. You can even give Zoomer a new name that he/she will respond to. In the manual you will find special voice commands to make Zoomer do things like dance, play dead and more. When you give Zoomer a name you will be able to unlock even more tricks!

Here is another Zoomer video for you to check out.

How To Give Your Dog A Bath Without Getting A Bath!

I have 3 white dogs, never realized just how crazy that was and no, it was not planned. They are definitely different shapes, sizes and breeds. We have a huge, muscular purebred American Bulldog, a medium West Highland White Terrier and a tiny Maltese. They all have extremely different coat types too. The bulldog has a short, straight coat that sheds. The Westie has a wiry non-shedding coat that does not have an undercoat. The Maltese has a thick double coat of silky non- shedding fur.

Living up in the mountains, we  do not have a ready supply of dog groomers, nor do we have any mobile grooming vans. I take care of the grooming. We even put a huge farmhouse sink in our laundry room with an awesome faucet to bathe the two smaller and messier ones. I am very lucky because they like their baths and do not mind at all clipping, scissoring, brushing and combing.

The worst part of the bath is that dreaded shake. You know what I mean, the one that happens just as you are trying to find a towel. The one that leaves you wet from head to toe. Ugh, I hate that, but I have good news. I no longer have to search for the perfect towel. I have the perfect drying towel now and it is so super large and absorbent I can use it on both these hairy beasts and still use it for the bulldog without issue.

The e-cloth For Pets, Large Drying & Cleaning Towel is so large it absolutely surrounds my Maltese many times over. She loves that part after a bath where I wrap her in the towel and then dry her. By the time I take it off she is nearly dry. The bigger Westie who is always second for baths gets wrapped up after her and the towel still has so much absorption power that her wiry coat is barely damp after I am done. Whether you have one or multiple dogs this towel is a must. It will keep you dry, get your dogs dry and is built to last.

Large Drying Cloth

  • Quickly removes and locks away dirt, mud and bacteria
  • Absorbs twice as much moisture as a conventional towel and dries four times more quickly
  • Soft to touch and encourages pets to cuddle into
  • Guaranteed for 300 machine washes
  • size: 59.1″ x 31.5″

How To Keep Your Pet’s Body & Mind In Top Shape

If you’re an animal lover like me, you want to do all you can to keep your pet healthy and happy.  Healthy skin, coat, eyes, coat, immune system and brain are the keys to your pet living a long, vibrant life.  Did you know fish oil is one of the most important supplements to help keep your pets body and mind in top shape.

The omega 3 fatty acids in fish oil provide widespread benefits. It helps support healthy skin, coat, joints, heart, kidney and the development and maintenance of the brain, eyes and immune system. It also helps promote weight loss in overweight pets and may help reduce certain allergies. You have to be careful of the kind of fish oil you choose because they are not all the same.  The source, purity and concentration make a huge difference in the quality of the fish oil.

Omega 3 Fish Oil For Pets Icy Water

TerraMax Pro’s Premium Omega 3 Fish Oil is the highest quality fish oil you’ll find anywhere. Carefully crafted from deep-sea, cold water fish and molecularly distilled for purity from all toxins, it’s refined for maximum potency without the overwhelming scent of other fish oils.

Some of the benefits of using TerraMax Pro Premium Omega 3 Fish Oil Are:

* EPA, one of the two omega 3 fatty acids in fish oil, acts as an anti-inflammatory, which can help with any condition that causes inflammation of the heart, kidneys, skin, and joints.

* DHA, the other omega 3 fatty acid in fish oil, is important in brain and eye development in puppies and kittens and is recommended for pregnant or nursing pets.

* It can help ease inflammation due to allergies, and reduce dry, itchy skin. This can be an effective way to potentially decrease the incidence of hot spots.

* It promotes a shiny, healthy coat, and may reduce shedding (For cats, this may mean fewer hairballs, since they won’t pick up as many loose hairs while grooming).

Omega 3 Fish Oil For Dogs

Only the finest fish oil is used for TerraMax Pro’s Premium Omega 3 Fish oil: Wild Sardines, Herring, Anchovy and Mackerel. Wild caught exclusively from the clean, icy-cold waters of Iceland, using only sustainable and environmentally responsible fishing methods safe for Dolphins and other protected species.

The fish oil is then purified with one of the best purification methods that exist, called Molecular Distillation. Molecular Distillation is one of the few methods that can remove heavy metals, PCB’s and other toxins to below detectable limits, making it safe for consumption.

TerraMax Pro’s Premium Omega-3 Fish Oil is guaranteed to contain 100% of the purest, most potent fish oil on the market to provide optimum nutrition for your pet. Their fish oil is all natural, human grade and does not contain any additives or preservatives. The proven science behind TerraMax Pro’s product makes it truly unmatched! Waggers by Stacy Nyikos

Waggers is so lucky to be adopted by a great family.  He tries to behave and be good but he is just so excited all the time and when he gets excited he has a tail problem.  His tail goes crazy!  You might wonder what harm could sweet Waggers tail do, his family is about to find out.  In the kitchen, baking cookies, it just smells so good and Waggers tail goes crazy and the dough hits the ceiling.  Unfortunately that is not the only mishap.  When Waggers is helping the kids defeat the monster in the living room, the sofa does not escape unharmed.  Out in the garage it is not any better, Waggers excitable tail scrapes off the paint on te car!  Mom and Dad are starting to wonder if their home is the right place for such an excitable pup.  Is it the end of the line for Waggers or is there a way the family can stay together?  You will just need to pick up a copy and find out.

Stacy Nyikos is the award-winning author of many mischievous books for children. She’s not sure how that happened. She didn’t get into trouble as a child. Well, if you don’t count borrowing sandwiches from her dad. He wasn’t eating them anyway. Stacy holds an MFA in Writing for Children at Vermont College, which she didn’t borrow. They gave it to her. Really. Ask her kids. Or her dog. Just don’t ask her husband. He’s misplaced a few sandwiches. When she isn’t chasing stories—or sandwiches—Stacy can be found scribbling in the wilds of Oklahoma. She is currently working on a new adult novel about her grandfather’s adventure canoeing from Indiana to New Orleans – over 2,000 miles of paddling – in 1939.

EZYDOG, New Zero Shock Dog Leash Review & Giveaway!!!

images (7)

We have three dogs, all are white but that is about the only thing they have in common besides all being female. We have a huge, muscular, 100% American Bulldog, a curious, feisty West Highland White Terrier and a sweet, tiny Maltese.  Could one leash handle all three?  Yes, it can, the new 48″ Zero Shock Leash is great.  We got it in pink for our girls and it is very strong, high quality and has great features.  It is comfortable to hold and the Zero Shock Technology reduces strain on me and our girls. I really like the traffic control feature that is only available on the 48 inch leash because it gives you ultimate control in high traffic or other situations you want to have your dog close and secure.

If you have pets, you probably have accidentally kicked the water dish and had it spill all over the floor.  A mess right?  In my case it would happen and my toddler would run in while I was getting the mop and fall, because it made the tile floor so slippery.  Now, I have a crying toddler, a soaked floor, and I am a mommy that needs something better.  Enter Neater Feeder, this elevated feeding station is the answer to my problem.  The Neater Feeder comes in sizes for cats to large dogs.  We were sent the review feeder in a size large and it is perfect for our American Bulldog, Delilah, who is by far our messiest eater.  Now the spills, slobbers and drips stay in the Neater Feeder, not all over the floor.  A great solution to a messy problem.  Thank you Neater Feeder for coming to this mom’s rescue.

Tradewind Books, “On My Walk” Book Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Recently Tradewind Books sent me a book to review and one to use for a give-away.  They sent me the children’s book, “On My Way” by Kari-Lynn Winters and illustrated by Christina Leist.  I shared it with my 2 year old Luke tonight, and he just loved it.  It was such a fitting and relative book for us because we take a lot of walks, and live in the country.  This book follows a small child as he walks with his mother and his dog in the country.  Luke loved that the dog looked like one of our dogs, Delilah.  It was a great book because even though the words on each page were few, the content allowed us to talk about our own experiences.  For instance the child sees a frog and we talked about how we see frogs on our walks.  He was delighted  seeing  a little boy like him, seeing the same things he does, on his walk.  It was a short, pleasant read and was just perfect for spurring conversation in a toddler or pre-schooler.  The illustrations are charming and amusing, like when the dog is licking the boy’s ice cream cone.  We give this book 2 thumbs up, oh wait, 4 thumbs up!!!

excerpt:

On my walk,
my summer walk,
I hear a horse, clippity-clop, clippity-clop,
and a frog, frippity-frop, frippity-frop

Tradewind Books so generously supplied me with an additional book to give-away to a lucky blog reader.

The second of January brings the second gorgeous day of the new year!!!

January 2nd and a beautiful mild day.  I set out on my walk with my little man Ethan and Sassy Sassafras.  Ethan was so happy to go along and skipped almost the whole way.  He did stop to throw snow rocks into the lake but they did not make a big splash like in the warmer weather but skipped across the icy lake top.  It was Sassy’s first time around the lake and she was just as good as Zazzy (Zoey).  At one point Ethan picked her up and wanted to hold her but I appealed to him to let her walk and get good exercise too.   I love how taking a nice walk outside just energizes the body and minds of adults, children and dogs alike.  We all returned home, happy, refreshed and grateful.  Hope everyone is getting out and enjoying the mild temps we are having.
