Chuggington: The Big Freeze DVD Giveaway #HolidayGiftGuide

Last Sunday when I awoke to find a coating of snow on my van, I was not impressed. October 18th is way too early to be seeing that white stuff. It was short-lived thankfully and this week saw us getting into the high 60’s and low 70’s. However as much as I hate to admit it, that white stuff will be here and we are supposed to be in for another cold, harsh winter. I am hoping they are wrong this time but I guess time will have to tell us that.

When icy temperatures cause the town to run out of fuel and all diesel engines are grounded, it’s wheels-to-the-rails as Chief Jackman and his team of brave Chug Patrollers work together to find a way to the frozen docks to retrieve fuel and get the town of Chuggington moving once again. Fans can join Fletch as he tries to repair the lighthouse, chug along with Calley as she tests to become a first responder, watch as Brewster gets closer to being a Chuggineer, and more! “The Big Freeze” will help teach little chuggers nationwide important lessons about safety, responsibility and teamwork as they ride alongside their favorite friends, Wilson, Koko, Brewster, and Asher!

Chuggington, “Icy Escapades” DVD Review & Giveaway!!!

My three-year old could not get this in the DVD player fast enough when he saw me open it from that day’s mail.  He loves Chuggington along with my five-year old.  We have been without power thanks to Hurricane Sandy so we are thankful we have a generator that lets us run our main appliances, lights and of course TV and DVD player.  He watched this DVD through 2 straight times and at least once a day since then.  This DVD is a collection of winter adventures as the crew takes to the tracks as snow and ice blanket Chuggington!  Wilson, Koko and Brewster save the day when the rails become frozen to keep the town moving.  Lots of chilly adventures for these Chuggers and trainees who need a little rescuing.  These great episodes model great lessons like teamwork and problem solving while showing there is snow-place like Chuggington!

Our Thoughts:

We recently received this newest Chuggington DVD to review and my boys just adore it.  If your little ones are fans of the Chugginton Series, they are in for a real treat.  The DVD has a bonus feature of coloring and activity sheets that my boys just love.  The episodes are great because they reinforce the importance of helping your friends and teamwork. This is a very good series for preschoolers and young children to show them good values and morals in a way they can easily understand.

Chuggington, “The Chugger Championship” DVD Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

Believe it or not, my boys had never seen Chuggington before we got this DVD to review.  They do love trains though, so they were eager to watch it and they loved it.  They have definitely found some more trains to love and this is becoming a favorite DVD.  In “The Chugger Championship,” Wilson, Brewster and Coco are back and ready to put their “wheels to the rails” for the biggest race in Chuggington!  The exciting brand-new DVD features six engaging adventures that invite preschool-age fans and their families to join the three animated best friends as they prepare for a test, invent a new contest and pick up a fun hobby – all the while learning about the importance of accountability and responsibility – and that a true champion isn’t always the one who finishes first!
