Save UpTo 70% On Back To School Shopping At The All New Nordstrom Rack!!! #NordstromRack

This post is sponsored by Nordstrom Rack but my word and opinions are as always 100% my own.

Closer and closer to school starting for us and it’s so bittersweet for me.  I don’t want the summer to be over.  I don’t want the days to grow shorter and colder and I definitely don’t want to head into the winter that everyone is predicting will be one of the worst!  As much as I try though, I can’t stop time.   With the kids heading back to school it’s important to make sure they start the year off right.  Did you know that the all-new nordstromrack.com has the top brands and latest styles for up to 70% off!  They really do, and they make it easy to dress to impress with designer brands at clearance prices.

Some of my favorite picks for my boys for back to school on the site were:

The Tucker + Tate “Townsend” Straight Leg Jeans in Toddler and Little Boy Sizes.  The jeans were only $12.97, that is 64% off the regular price

Tucker + Tate

The Tucker + Tate Conrad Plaid Shirt is only $12.97 and 65% off the regular price!

The ASICS Performance Tees were only $9.97 which is 38% off the regular price.  This one so aptly describes either one of my little guys!

And for mom, I saw so many great options to wear and accessorize for Meet the Teacher night at school.

My top picks for me were:

The Sienna Rose Fringe Sleeve Tunic Blouse for $35 is great for pairing with nice pants or jeans and is 37% off the regular price.

Fringe Trim Tunic Blouse

MOTHER ‘Daydreamer’ Skinny Flare Leg Jeans were 75% off the regular price of $196.00 which means they were only $49.00!  Score!!!

Mother Daydreamer Jean

The Sweet Trotters ‘Suki’ Flats were 63% off the regular price and were a steal at $36.97!

The Indio Leather Demi Handbag in ocean is a must have for me and at 50% off the regular price, why not?  A gorgeous leather bag for $64.97!

STEP2 Prepare and Share Kitchen Set Review!!!

I was sent a new STEP2 Prepare and Share Kitchen to review.  STEP2 just introduced this kitchen to their line of great kid’s products.  The kitchen was delivered in a large box and when we opened it, it was all neatly packed and included lots of food, dishes and accessories.  It was very easy to put together and took very little time.  One of the favorite features is the stove burner that when fitted with the skillet sizzles, pot boils, coffee pot boils as well.  It also causes lights to illuminate in the cooking vessels.  It requires 2 AA batteries for the electronic sounds but it was a huge hit and one of the features the boys liked best.  It is designed in neutral colors for boys or girls.

It is a very sturdy unit that will hold up to lots of play and is very easy to wipe down.  I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of accessories this kitchen includes.  It includes 5 large spice/herb bottles, salt and pepper shakers, grinding pepper mill, phone, pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils and a variety of food, fruits and veggies.  Three removable baskets are handy for storage and play prep and cooking.  The large, deep sink has a swivel faucet.  Stainless steel look oven and refrigerator, hanging hooks, pass through window and ledge for serving, storing and prep add realistic touches to this kitchen set.  The clip for the phone holds it securely in place and is easy for the kids to retrieve the phone and return it when finished with the call.  Kitchen is large enough that the two can play together and still have enough space to play and cook.

This kitchen set is available at Toys R Us for $89.99 and I think it is a great value considering all you get with it.  I recommend this kitchen very much.  If I have any critisism I would say that it would be great if two of the burners had the sounds just because you could have two things cooking/boiling, sizzling at once.  However, that would not deter me from buying this kitchen.  There is plenty to do and kids will have a great time cooking up some gourmet meals.

The contents of the box ready to be assembled.

All set up and ready for the kids.

Tea Collection Boys Clothing Line Review!!!

The Tea Collection recently sent me out some pieces from their boys clothing line.   I was beyond thrilled to be selected to review these pieces.  Luke modeled the size 3 (a bit big on my peanut) Escarabat graphic tee which is available in sizes sm (6-12mo) to 7 yrs.  The tee has a retail price of $19.00.  It is a super comfy, 100% cotton, in a gravel color.

Then we paired that with the El Born Tile Print Shirt available in sizes sm(6-12m) to 11/12 years.   Barcelona’s tiny El Born district is characterized by narrow waterfront streets.  It’s medieval, artsy and hip all at once.  This shirt will definitely be coming along on our vacation.  The shirt is 100% cotton and super comfy.  The retail price on this shirt is $35.00.

Ethan is wearing a size 5 (also a tad large but perfect for this Fall) Boardwalk Hooded Sweater available in sizes Sm (6-12mo) to 11/12 yrs.  It’s Picasso in casual beach mode with color blocking and stripes.  The perfect pullover for breezy afternoons and cool nights.  This sweater is 100% Pima Cotton and super cozy and soft.  This sweater retails for $59.00.

You can view the entire Tea clothing line for girls and boys.  You will be sure to find some cute, comfy, stylish clothing for the little ones in your life.

    January 15th!!!

Yeah, we are halfway over with this month.  We are closer to Spring and just think another 2 weeks and we can say, “Spring begins next month.”  Yesterday, Alexandra, Luke and I went into Scranton for some shopping.  I got Ethan and Luke the most adorable dress shoes for their Easter outfits.  Some may think I am crazy that I already have the boys’ Easter outfits and needed to get the dress shoes but that is just the way I am.  Anyhow, they were so excited with their dress shoes they have not taken them off all day except for nap time and they had to go right on after they got up.  The first time Ethan put them on he went into a tap dance, it was just too funny.  Anyway they will not take them off.  They are the cutest little shoes too.  They are by Kenneth Cole and they are black with a little side buckle but there is a velcro so their feet go in really easy and they are super comfy.  I also got Ethan some new winter boots, and Luke a new Zero Exposure winter coat for next year because I could not pass up the deal and then I went to check out and a lady gave me a coupon for 30% off my entire order.   So it was a super deal and I bought some clothes for Alexandra as well.  Three cheers for secret special savings!!!

Hope you all are having a great January and remember Spring is so close now!!!
