PMD, Personal MicroDerm System Review & Giveaway!!!

Who doesn’t want younger, smoother, more flawless skin?  I was very happy when I was asked to review the PMD, Personal MicroDerm System recently.  The PMD was said to work as well as the professional treatments that are found in dermatologist’s offices.  I was very impressed at the quality of the system, all the components and that it even came with an instructional video.  How nice to have such a high quality device to take care of any problem areas and leave my skin smoother and younger looking. It is so easy to use and works so well and uses the same aluminum oxide crystals found in professional equipment.  If you are looking to get great results from microderm treatments at home without the hassle and expense of going to the doctor, you should take a look at the PMD, Personal MicroDerm System.  Get professional results in your own bathroom and you are sure to have everyone mentioning how great your skin looks.

I like that you can use it on your body, hands, neck as well as your face and that just lets you treat any areas that you feel are less than perfect and achieve great results. Minimizing pores is what I really love and that it quickly takes care of any unevenness or rough skin area.  I feel very empowered knowing that it is just takes a trip to my bathroom linen closet to get professional results.

PMD works in two ways to produce amazing resurfacing results. The aluminum oxide crystals embedded into the exfoliating discs work to resurface the stratum corneum skin layer. This combined with the powerful vacuum suction of the hand-held device stimulates blood flow and brings collagens to the surface; allowing skin care products to penetrate deeper into the skin ultimately revealing younger, healthier skin.

PMD greatly enhances poor, dull skin texture by gently resurfacing the superficial skin layers. Softens and modifies fine “expression” lines typically seen on the forehead and around the mouth. Polishes and reduces fine, crêpe lines on the cheeks generally caused by aging and sun damage. Smoothes pigment changes or skin discoloration. Contracts enlarged pores; exfoliates and suctions out clogged pores in case of acne, and polishes and smoothes out the margins of acne and burn scars.

I’ve learned that Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive form of exfoliation and mild skin resurfacing that removes the dead skin cells from the Stratum Corneum, the outer most layer of the skin.

  3. Desiree Gutierrez

I learned Microdermabrasion provides several important benefits for the skin. The treatment smoothes away dull and rough skin texture, and it softens fine lines, wrinkles, burn scars, and acne scars. The treatment also improves the skin’s tone by fading uneven pigmentation, sun damage, age spots, and skin blemishes.

I learned that you need to replace the disks every 2-4 treatments (replacements are $14.95 for 6) and that you shouldn’t do a peel or use Alpha and Beta Hydroxy acid or retin A or retinol products 48 hours before or after. Also learned that I would really like to get one of these!! I’m sold on the before and after pics!

I learned that “The benefits of microdermabrasion cause skin to become rejuvenated, while promoting new collagen growth and cell renewal. Also, since the dead skin cells on the Stratum Corneum act as a barrier for the skin, once they are removed through microdermabrasion, skin care products will be more fully absorbed into the skin, maximizing their effectiveness.”

I learned Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive form of exfoliation and mild skin resurfacing that removes the dead skin cells from the Stratum Corneum, the outer most layer of the skin. The Stratum Corneum is the layer of the skin affected by fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes, acne, and scaring. The concentrated microdermabrasion treatment exfoliates this skin layer to break apart these common imperfections. This then triggers the body’s healing mechanisms, causing the removed dead skin cells to be rapidly replaced with healthy, new ones. Awesome!!
