Scott’s original illustrated characters decorate the Melville chairs and are featured on the wall art. We recently had the chance to review a Melville Chair. The multifunctional chair has many uses, it can be a table, stool, or a chair. combine a few to make a little desk or three for a table and chairs set. Kids will love the characters and parents will love that the chair arrives fully assembled and is quality made. The chair is very sturdy and solid but light enough for a child to carry it from room to room. Luke loved this little chair and it was so easy for him to carry with the little hole cut outs in the sides. Easy enough for him to pick up and put by the kitchen sink when he wants a drink or to wash his hands. We are quite impressed with the sturdy little chair and we just love the monkey design!

The Melville Chair is the simplest and greatest kids chair in the universe ( we are very humble).
Kids love to use all sides of any object, and with this lightweight multifunctional chair they most definitely will. You’ll find it one moment in the living room being used as a seat for some reading, and the next, flipped on its end for a coloring table. Soon you will see your little one carrying it into the kitchen to use it as a stool (probably to reach something their not supposed to), and then their action figures will be using it as a base for launching an attack.
All our Melville Chairs are hand-made in Olympia Washington which makes them awesome. What makes them even awesome-er is that they are made with FSC certified Maple plywood that is formaldehyde free, and then finished with a non toxic low VOC coating.
We ship them fully assembled and ready for action – and these chairs will see action!
