Recently, I had the chance to review the  compact, discreet, and GPS enabled 5Star Responder.  I should clarify it was actually set up for my daughter who is the one who used it but it gave me the peace of mind that mothers look for.  It actually came on a weekend that she was heading down to NYC to check out a grad school and stay with a girlfriend from college.  I felt a lot better knowing she had the 5Star Responder with her.  The 5Star Responder is a great device that  can prepare you for any unsafe or uncertain situation.     5Star has been a prayer answered for me. I have an undiagnosed Medical/neurological condition that can severely limit my ability to get help for myself. Knowing I have the responder alone helps me not worry so much about having an “episode” as I have come to know them. I know that if I am unable to get help for myself that all I have to do is press that button and help will be on the way.

    I’d would rather pay for the service and not need it than Need it and not have it. 🙂

    My brother-in-law was in a serious accident 4 months ago and was just released from the hospital (he hit his insurance maximum and was given the boot). This would be WONDERFUL for him to have when his mom has to step away or do a quick run to the grocery store!

    What I like about the product is the low cost of the service. I would give it to my mother she has copd bad. Since I am a student and my mother is disabled it would give me peace of mind, since its hard for me to be here all the time its hard to know if shes ok, for we don’t have a car she runs around in her motorized power chair for everything.   18. I was a former employee and this service sucks. I experienced first hand how frustrated callers were with this service. The device doesn’t work for shit it doesn’t hold a charge. The device always malfunctions. It will randomly shut off, call 911 repeatly for no reason. The service is ridicule and when you call to cancel they harass you about canceling it. This is a horrible place to work they treat there employees like shit.
