My Sibling/My Pal® For First Eucharist 18″ Girl Doll Review & Giveaway!!! First Holy Communion Doll!!!

Well, it is getting close to May believe it or not.  Many little Catholic boys and girls are preparing for their First Holy Communion. What a special day for them and their family!  Recently, I was given the opportunity to review a My Pal For First Eucharist 18″ Girl Doll.  First, let me tell you what a brilliant idea this is.  When my daughter was making her First Holy Communion, I wanted to get her a doll and I did, it is porcelain and lovely, but she definitely could not play with it.  My Pal has beautiful 18″ girl and boy dolls available in different hair, color and skin tones as well as different suit colors for the boy dolls and different dress styles for the girls.  I received my girl doll and she is just beautiful.  She comes dressed in her very best in preparation for her First Holy Communion Day. She has a white silk rose halo with a veil in the back, a beautiful detailed white communion dress, white underpants, white socks and shiny white mary jane shoes with little white bows on them.  Her limbs are vinyl and her body is soft and huggable.  Her long hair can be styled in a number of ways. The dolls are dressed and accessorized by teens and adults with disabilities who participate in the My Sibling/My Pal Work Experience Program^™.   The mission of  the My Sibling/My Pal Work Experience Program is to provide job sampling experiences for teens and young adults through their transition programs at school – they do not employ anyone.  Background:  Schools are mandated by federal law to provide transition (to adulthood & the workforce) services from the time a student is 14.  They (the schools) need companies who are willing to provide job “sampling” opportunities for their students in order to be able fulfill this educational mandate. No money changes hands.  The students do the work under the supervision of their teachers and/or job coaches, and My Sibling/My Pal picks up the finished product.  The benefit to these students is they learn how to work for a real company who produces and sells a real product – in other words, it’s not just practice.
